Re: Spring 2019 Golf

I don't know about everyone else, but I am playing a lot of golf. I just don't talk about it unless there is something interesting to say. Who gives a shit about my game otherwise? Nobody.

Re: Describe Your Best Shot of the Month

Today, I hit probably the best shot of MY CAREER! :ohyeah After catching the top lip of the left fairway bunker on the par 4, 7th hole while trying to cheat the slight dogleg left with my drive, I had 147 yards left to the pin. The bunker had a 6 foot lip in front of me. The green is not visible at ...

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread

He's got a good shot at Bethpage Black next month and as far as I am concerned, based on the way he played last week, as good a chance as anyone in both US and British Opens. I'm ready to watch some golf.

Re: Random golf thoughts

I wear Titleist T-shirts and Footjoy T-shirts all the time when I'm not on the course, just like most guys wear t-shirts with graphics of some sort on them, when they are just hanging out. But, that should be no surprise to anyone here. The Titleist ones are all exclusive to Team Titleist members an...

I shed a tear, actually. What an accomplishment! :thrust :fk :yess
I admit it. I did too. It was fantastic. One of the best moments in my sports watching history, ever. And I saw the Mets win the 86 World Series!

Re: One Week In April: 2019 Masters Tournament Thread

Can Molinari hold up under the pressure? NO! El Tigré for the win. Molinari kicked 5-time Masters Champion Tiger's butt under big pressure in the Ryder Cup last year if memory serves. He's the real deal. If 5-time Masters Champion Tiger can pull this out, he will be beating a leaderboard full of ma...

5-time Masters Champion Tiger!

But man, Molinari is solid. The last year and a half he has shown he can be as good as anyone.

The wind tomorrow may be a factor. Should be interesting.

Re: One Week In April: 2019 Masters Tournament Thread

What's with Adam Scott's 1987 pleated pants look? Is he trying to restart a golf fashion trend? I hope not. In my 2019 opinion, it looks ridiculous, or as my old Italian grandmother would say, "ridicula."

He has one of the nicest swings in the game and now he wants to ruin it with his pants.

Re: One Week In April: 2019 Masters Tournament Thread

Langer is a solid pick. Probably the most solid of the four you mentioned, and he's over 60! I like Freddie a lot too, but his bad back makes it a crap shoot. He still has the game when his back is doing well. And his swing is to die for. It's ironic how a man with such a sweet, seemingly stress-les...

Duke, watching live and reviewing many of the other videos on Masters.com right now. Good stuff. (ESPN is providing the content to Masters.com.) Beef, don't worry. I can't let it go and only hope those who sit and watch this man-child make a mockery of our country, don't let it go either. That shoul...

Re: One Week In April: 2019 Masters Tournament Thread

Just saw a short John Ram interview. Guy is pretty well spoken. Managed to succinctly convey his admiration for ANGC without using words like amazing, incredible, unbelievable. That scores huge points with me. Even though he went to Arizona State and English isn't his first language, he speaks bett...

Also, regarding The Grint, doesn't it take some time for rounds to show up in your activity feed, period? My 18 hole rounds don't show up immediately.
You may be right. However, I swear that I was able to add comments almost immediately after I had posted an 18-hole score in the past.

Somehow, all of a sudden, my 9 hole scores are showing in my Activity Feed, allowing me to post a comment. Maybe the Grint people saw my dissatisfaction with their site posted on this forum and quickly fixed it. Just for me. Not!

Re: The Grint Virtual Tour

I was a premium member at SG but, never used Boxgroove, even though I supposedly have access to it with my plan. I get emails from them all the time with new clubs added to the plan. Seems like there are some great clubs. I could just never figure out how it all works. Though truth be told, I never ...

Re: The Grint Virtual Tour

Before I get too invested in the Grint, I am thinking I may copy the scores I have since I started there back over to SG360, one by one---a tedious and timely process---and then entering all new scores going forward on SG360 with all the stats and notes I want. I will consider entering the new score...

Re: The Grint Virtual Tour

This is actually a general Grint question for any of you guys who know the ins and out better than I do, rather than a LG Tour question. I only scored my first nine holes yesterday on my Grint record (though I played 13). I wanted to post a note regarding the round, but I can't find where that optio...

Re: WTF did you shoot today?

Went out late, with my golfer-girl friend yesterday. Teed off about 4:30. Only got in 13 holes as a result of very heavy clouds, which made it so dark that we could barely see ballflight at 7 pm, 40 minutes before sunset. It was virtually dark. I had a good front nine, with very good control of all ...

Re: WTF did you shoot today?

Well, posted another 84. Admittedly, the course was a touch too long for me to score considering the conditions (soft fairways, breezy cool weather). There were a few rays of hope but not many. Sigh. :breaking I feel for you Brian. It was only a couple weeks ago I was fighting those conditions. Pla...

Re: One Week In April: 2019 Masters Tournament Thread

I was just watching some of the Women's AM taking place at Augusta National this week. I am surprised at how dormant much of the grass still is. It better green up fast. The world will be watching next week. Normally by the Masters, everything there looks green and lush. Wonder if they will be spray...
