Sorry Matt. I feel your pain.
(I'm on day 6 of our shutdown, with no end in sight yet.)
It's all good. I went to the Chiro yesterday and because I haven't done my PT for 2 weeks my lower back, the part that's bad, is shot. I don't think I could have played today anyway.

Re: Golf in a Plague Year

Well, the Ohio Department of Health shut down all golf courses, so my Sunday round is now cancelled.

Re: Golf in a Plague Year

Snagged a tee time for today at 11:12 and Sunday at 11:04, walking both. I'm off with another member today and out as a single on Sunday...can't wait.

Re: Corona Virus Rants and Facts and Rumors

Got an email from Windmill the other day saying they're closed. But, they sent another one yesterday: As of Wednesday, March 25th the golf course is back open! An update from Windmill Lakes Golf Club about COVID – 19. To Our Valued Customers and Employees: First and foremost, Windmill Lakes Golf Clu...

Re: Corona Virus Rants and Facts and Rumors

Fuck, fuck, fuckity, fuck. We're leaving Florida tomorrow. Everything is basically shut down. All bars, restaurants, beaches, pools and water parks. Southwest cancelled our flight because they're not flying into Chicago so we HAVE to leave tomorrow at 1620 and get into CLE at 2215 via St Louis. Moth...

Safe travels. You might want to buy some groceries to put in a cooler in case restaurants are closed along the way.
We're flying. We'll extend the rental car agreement only as a last resort.

Re: WTF did you shoot today?

Went out on Monday and played San Carlos in Estero with my FIL. He only played 9 because he ran out of puff. But I shot a 45/42 87 with 32 putts. I'll take it for not having played since the beginning of October. A mate down here got us a tee time for Thursday at Innisbrook for $35.

Re: Grocery Shopping & Corona Virus

Seeing as though I'm in Florida right now I have only a small idea of what's happening in Ohio. All bars, restaurants and schools are closed. Restaurants can do take out and delivery only. Around here in Naples, all bars are now closed and restaurants can only run at 50% capacity. We're leaving next...

Tomorrow would be just fine for me. However, reality says in about 15 years. We have plans that include moving elsewhere and owning my own business until such times as my son can take it over or I get bored or kick the bucket.

Yes! And also you can carp about "kids", the various parts of your body that hurt or don't work too well, and advances in technology. :school

Re: '19-'20 Winter Support Group Thread

Use super glue on the splits. You aren't the first to mention that idea. Evidently, many have seen relief using it. No harm or negative issues to the bloodstream? Will it hold the split together under the stress of a golf swing/many golf swings? I have used a "new skin" product before, but it would...
