Re: The Grumble Thread

Ummm, if groups behind are waiting on you (the singles) would that not mean you were waiting on groups in front of you? I have never had a group wait on me as a single, whether I was walking or carting, unless I was held up.

We finally got the Koreans to understand not to pay their bets off every hole, and let people play through if they do not speed up. Course management had a come to Jesus meeting with Hyundai.

Re: Random youtube thread

My favorite part of the story is Moorman talks about all of his jerseys that he has framed, that is the only one he has framed with the front of the jersey showing. It has flecks of Taylor's facemask embedded in the shoulder along with a hole from the hit.

Re: Describe Your Best Shot of the Month

Played on the Judge Course at Capitol Hill on Saturday, and sot my second best round ever on the course, an 82. Playing the 12th hole, a par 3 all carry over water, we had about 163 to a front pin. My friend hits a 4 iron to the back left of the green. I come up to hit a 6 iron, but I fan it short a...

Re: Random golf thoughts

So as part of my No Work Friday November, I had a charity golf tournament I had to play last Friday(my aunt is a contractor for local Habitat for Humanity.) So I had two friends on my team, and we got paired up with one random person to make our foursome. Since most people supporting this tourney ar...

I am not saying drink it while playing, I was saying he said to drink it when you felt the cramp coming on, or while it is happening.

An older friend of mine who has leg cramp problems like you described suggested drinking straight tonic water when you feel like or have already started getting leg cramps.

Almost all headlines are not written by whoever wrote the story, so more than likely the headline writer is not a golf fan.

Re: If You Could Play Golf as Often as You Prefer, How Often?

As of right now I am at 86 rounds, with a three day weekend coming up. Of course, unlike some people I won't name like Doug, I have a full time job. :thumbs Last year I played 92 rounds, with me hitting #86 on December 10th. Also, I will not be working a Friday in November, due to taking two Fridays...

It was interesting last weekend, I was working the scoring tent for the Symetra Tour tournament they held here, and to see how the different girls handled the task of getting their golf bag around the course. 132 player field with $15000 for first means there is not a lot of money going around. Not ...

While Yokohama did not renew their sponsorship of the LPGA tournament here, they decided to host a Symetra tour tournament here this year (LPGA's version of the Web.com Tour.) So of course I have been volunteering in the scoring tent again. With so little money paid out on this tour, it is interesti...

Doug, usually tropical systems usher in ungodly amounts of humidity down here in the south. We just got lucky because the dewpoints happened to be extremely low when the system moved in. Most of the time when our humidity drops is when a front moves in from the north, bringing in the drier air from ...
