Re: Grumble Thread

I like to blame hip issues on too much sitting (in a chair). And not enough squatting too. Not meaning like, the gym exercise, but the everyday utilitarian motion. That people more often do in like, third world countries. Squat down to do work, squat down to take five and smoke a cigarette or someth...

Re: womans golf

I am back from the course. They didn't let me whack balls goddamnit. But I got to watch some really good golf. Very impressed, and humbled. The amateurs were impressive as well. Yuri Yoshida, the LPGA pro I saw practicing last week, is kicking ass. I watched Lily "Muni" He for a bit. I was...

Re: womans golf

Big womans golf news. On Monday the U.S. Women's Open qualifier is returning to my very own local dump. They were here two years ago and I got to watch a couple of real pros. This year the field is even better. Eun Hee Ji, the 2009 USWO champion. I remember that pretty well, she beat out Cristie Ker...

Re: the Tiger thread

Today was a tough round and no fun to watch but I hung in there til the end without complaining. Whatever. This is the process, probably a futile process but I will gladly watch it long as it is on the TV.

womans golf

Nelly Korda is making the news, and I should have revealed this earlier, because now it looks like I am jumping on the wagon, but I have been a Nelly Korda guy over maybe the last year or so; as I have become obsessed with my own whacking, I have grown to seriously admire her action. I am sort of a ...

Re: PGA/LIV/DPW 2023

Organically, I enjoyed this year's Players's Championship. I like Scottie. The closest thing to Tiger we have seen in a while. It is just not as readily apparent without all the muscles, the emotional outbursts, the pre-tournament hype, the multiracial flair, signature apparel etc. But that is how g...

Re: What did you shoot today?

To Oz? I had a friend in NYC from Melbourne, he would travel back once a year. Needed a whole day to recover from the trip.

Re: PGA/LIV/DPW 2023

Golf fans today have to make do with the likes of Anthony Kim, and Tiger's pubescent son.
