Re: Golf Fitness - The Legs
Late in the season I seem to have injured my left knee. I can walk 18 holes without issue but I get a twinge or two when walking down a steep slope or if I twist it a bit, at times. Seems to be a bit better with my 24 day rest. I may ask the Doc what he thinks when I get my physical. My bet is ...

Re: 2025 - PGA/LIV/DPT/LPGA Tours
Haven't watched any golf in months. I can't tell you who is hot, who is not, or even where any tour is playing. Wake me up for the Masters.

Re: Best Shot of the Month
November, 20, 2025 - I hit a poor tee shot on #17 at Hudson Mills. Well right of the fairway and on hard pan/very thin grass. Picked the ball perfectly with my 4 iron. It flew high (for a 4 iron hit by me) and straight at the flag. Left me a 10 footer uphill, which I missed, sigh. Still, it was a ...

2025-2026 Winter Support Group
It has been 24 days since I hit a golf ball.

Re: What did you buy today?
Thinking about a 5 wood. I'd like to find something a little easier to hit than a 3-wood off the deck. Perused the Callaway Pre-Owned website. I may need to go to Carl's Golfland and try some clubs.

Re: What did you buy today?
I hear you. I prefer a range where one can use a tee and have the ball teed the way one likes it. Using "standard" built in rubber tees sucks. I am not good enough to adjust my swing because the rubber tee is too high or too low.

Well? Have you been hitting the new 1 Wood/1 Metal/Driver? What is the early evaluation?

Re: womans golf
I have not played there. It is public, although pricey ($205 in season).
I am not sure how the "ownership" of the course is set-up. The course supposedly donates $1,000,000 annually to the charity, Folds of Honor.

It is reassuring to occasionally go to the course with low expectations and surprise yourself. Nice playing.

Re: What did you shoot today?
Had an early morning round at my "home" course, Leslie Park. Paired up with a young man from Japan, who it working at University of Michigan as a researcher. His first drive was impressive. Blue Tee. The old guy played from the White. Turns out Ninshi (I think that is how he pronounced his name) is ...
