I am mired in a mild slump. About 6 consecutive rounds in the 80's. I am hitting the ball well and putting/short game is decent but there is always some "scoring leakage" in the round. Just enough to push a 78 to an 81. Maybe today will be a break out.

Well, @legitimatebeef got on the band wagon at the right time. 5 in a row including a major and a match play title. There is going to be a lot of hoopla at her next tournament. It does not look like she is in the field for the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro (that's a mouthful).

Against my better judgment, I played Sunday afternoon. Beautiful weather so the course was packed. I hooked up with three guys and we stumbled our way around in 4 1/2 hours. Ugh. I started hot, cooled off big time and then salvaged an 82 by playing the closing 5 holes in +1. I felt like I was close ...

Fortunately, I missed all of Tiger's 3rd & 4th rounds. I don't need to watch an icon humbled.

I wonder if the lack of a comment on Tiger since the middle of February is a measure of our waning interest in our aging hero? I assume Tiger is going to tee it up but for all I know, he has withdrawn. I guess I will find out tomorrow at 1:24pm.

Been lucky enough with the weather to get out at least a couple times a week. Had some good shots but nothing spectacular till the other day. Around 50* and breezy. Started on 10. Ho hum 40 at the turn. Playing decently. Like any other round, giving shots away from short approaches but putting well...
