Re: The Open

This is not some Waste Management Open. We really don't know what is going to happen on the leaderboard tomorrow. It's an outside shot but Tiger will be two groups behind trying to chase down Jordan. This is some cross-generational rivalry shit going down right here. So in that sense a momentous occ...

Re: Just Keep Swimming

I actually pondered it yesterday. There is space to swing a club, but that space also serves as the, uh, living room. You're right though besides the space, the noise is the main concern. I'd have to rent out the apartment below too. Realistically I think I could do it--if I limit to pitching and ch...

Re: The Open

Tiger will get a good weather break tomorrow. Course will play easier early, but temperature and wind will pick up later in the day. That is my prediction. Love it or leave it.

Re: Just Keep Swimming

You are as far as I am concerned livin the dream and for that I salute you. You make a good observation about our perceived value of range balls, and it absolutely restricts the way we practice. Hitting balls should be fun and creative, all the way. The range here is a literal box, like 40x200 yards...

Re: The Open

Tiger actually improves his position by three spots by shooting another E today. He is an unlikely winner this weekend but all that's important is that he has a chance. Seems like if you could have told him, back when he was in back pain and on hooked on painkillers, that he would one day be enterin...

I am usually impressed whenever a person can use both the words "your" and "you're" in the same sentence without fucking up.

Re: The Open

Tiger is playing mediocre but you know what, no more negativity. No more wisecracks about making tee-times for the weekend etc. Going to be positive for a change. He is pretty far back BUT NOT COMPLETELY OUT OF IT.

Tiger looks stiff walking to the first tee, and has Michelle Wie tape slapped on his neck.

I'll start looking for tee-times. ☹️

Re: Amazon Prime (Day)

There is still time, my friend. I have a $10 credit to use today only, I am struggling to claim it. Bunch of unnecessary not to mention off-brand merch. Why would anyone spend $300 on "nura" brand headphones for instance. Never heard of it. They seem to think we are a bunch of brainless, add-to-cart...

Hank Haney is picking Tiger, so I'm going with Tiger. Hank Haney may be a shameless, spineless shill, but he probably knows more about Tiger and his golf game than any of you knuckleheads.

Re: Poison Ivy - What would you do?

I've never been in it either so I don't know what I'd do. Probably unplayable. If your ball is in poison ivy you probably missed your target by a lot, so karmically this is the proper thing to do.

The down side to Habana is it's "fancy". Every good Cuban place in Tampa is a hole in the wall that is dirt cheap.
Try Versailles if ever in LA area, think you'd like it. Big, old-fashioned portions. There is a different Versailles in Miami, not as good IMO.
