Re: recycling

I've sort of eliminated paper goods from my worrying budget. I've never heard of an environmental issue due to cardboard waste. Glass I assumed is fairly recyclable. Maybe I am wrong. If so, glass waste doesn't really fuck up the world. Over time it becomes sea glass, which is ornamental and collect...

recycling

I'd like to have a conversation about recycling. What it means to you. Lately I am very troubled by plastic waste and the sheer amount of it consumed by each person, and entering the ecosystem as waste. I am taking small steps to reduce, but I am also struggling with the futility and inescapability ...

The Wedge Guy was a douche back in the oob days but he's probably mellowed out now that he got married to the woman of his dreams. :puke

Re: The El Tigré Thread

El Tigré playing in Austin Texas next week, a region that technically once was Mexico and in recognition of that, we will keep the forum-wide auto-correct for a little bit longer. In the event of a El Tigré win, it might have to become permanent. Definitely would have if he had won the WGC Mexico.

Re: 3rd Annual Frozen Balls Challenge - 2018-2019

This award should not be a hot potato. During the whole nomination process I noticed (among my own postings at least) a distinct undertone of "DON'T PICK ME, PICK SOMEONE ELSE". That is not right. This should be a coveted award.

Re: 3rd Annual Frozen Balls Challenge - 2018-2019

Really hate to be a party pooper (story of my life) but I think this so-called award would much, much better received if it didn't come with an actual trophy.

Thanks for posting. It is my life's mission to get Doug to at least try it.

I also like this method because it's the eco-friendly method. Not just less chemicals, less tape too. Can reuse your buildup layers. :up

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread

We here at Legitimategolf Forum have backed Tommy Fleetwood for a long time. I complain a lot about golfers being automaton conformists but that's not Tommy Fleetwood. He is his own man. For instance he is married to a woman twenty years older than him, who has kids from a previous relationship. Obv...

Re: The El Tigré Thread

Noticed that El Tigré Woods has not elected to enjoy the tour's new shorts policy. Makes sense. Worked for years building up an aura of invincibility. Why f that up just for the sake of wearing some stupid shorts. Not worth it. God I hate shorts.

Re: 2018-2019 Winter Support Group

Just talked to someone who attempted golf yesterday here in NYC. Epic waterlogging and bog-like conditions apparently. And still a bunch of snow on the course. For us--and many other regions in the USA--golf is going to suck for a good long while.

Re: 2018-2019 Winter Support Group

Some counties in Indiana don't change, either. Really? That sure makes it somewhat complicated. Wow! Btw, California voted to do away with PST last November, so this could be the last time we went to PDT a few days ago. But it needs to be approved by the federal government and Trump might just say ...
