Re: WTF did you buy today?

Thanks to GB and Doug for the advice. I did the questionnaire but didn't really have solid answers. Every question I pretty much threw my hands up, like "Dude, I hit balls off mostly off mats, play actual golf about once a month and when I do I suck and am very inconsistent--the fuck do I know about...

Re: The Tiger Thread

Like Michelle Wie, Tiger has a lot to be proud of himself for lately. I just read that the same good play which got Tiger into the Tour Championship has also qualified him for next year's US Open. Which means no groveling for a very special exemption, nor slogging it out in qualifying--both of which...

Re: The Tiger Thread

Is Tiger turning into Steve Stricker type of player? Nice guy, fan favorite, solid game but struggles to close the deal.

Re: The Tiger Thread

Forget about winning, Tiger is now hovering around the Tour Championship cutoff line. Important from a Tiger tard perspective because the TC represents one more opportunity to win in 2018, a small field and an event he was won multiple times and dominated.

Chez needs a miracle to get in btw.

Re: 2018 summer support group

Heat advisory over but we are still at 80+ humidity. That means more dripping sweat despite low 70s temps. This is why no great human achievements ever come from near the tropics. When it's hot all the time you can't hardly accomplish anything worthwhile.

Re: Anything, Dog

E-bikes are taking over. Initially the tip of the spear was exclusively Chinese deliverymen, on imported Chinese bikes. Now they are gaining traction among ordinary riders. Our bike-share system is also slowing adding motors to bikes. Word on the street is that shared, dockless e-scooters, which hav...

Re: Tech help

Back in college I built a PC for myself. Have almost no recollection of doing it, or even how I managed to do it given a) the availability of information back in those days and 2) my crude understanding of computers. I lived near a "Fry's Electronics" though and that was a huge help. I have no idea ...

It's a different kind of hot too. Not so much like walking into a wet towel like before. Today the sun's rays feel extra potent and scorchy.

Re: The Tiger Thread

:yess That makes me sincerely happy. And ironically happy too let's face it, I like Chez because he is so uncool, so the opposite of Rickie and whatever else the PGA TOUR public relations department would have you believe about pro golfers.
