Re: 2015 USO

Jordan is the one who probably should win tmrw. I have a feeling about Day though. He is going to pull off a Ken Venturi, his fame is going to blow up. Then there is Grace, who I'd like to see win. As I splained to the missus, he is a guy who wins quite a bit, but over in Europe. He could be due. Ki...

Re: 2015 Fantasy Golf League

Took a huge gamble on Fill, thinking if this is his year, then saturday has to be magical. We crashed out. It was a fun ride though.

Re: 2015 Fantasy Golf League

Mickelson is seeing to it that my winless streak remains intact. And to think I subbed him in minutes before the deadline this morning. Maybe next year Phil.

Summer Support Group

I could've gone to play today. But I didn't. This is slightly crazy. I am playing very well by my standards, and feel like I have some good scores in me. Yet the idea of going out to play slow golf right about now is repellent. I've played one frickin round in the last two weeks. It's not just the p...

Re: 2015 USO

It's cool to watch in primetime, but dangit, this is pretty late. The 2nd round lasted past 11pm EST. It's tough because you have to wait until like 5pm to start cracking the beers. Not that I will be doing that. But I would imagine it's kind of an annoyance, if that's your thing.

Re: 2015 USO

Jordan and Pot Roast will be interesting to watch. They probably hate each other. Because one is America's sweetheart, and the other is a self promoting jerkoff. However I think this thing is still wide open. You cannot overlook the Joost Luitins of the world and what not. And what is up with this K...

Re: 2015 USO

I think he can come back. There are a couple positives he can take away from these 2 days. He can spend 2 days practicing on real greens again. He gets to spend fathers day with his kids. He doesn't need to worry about being hung over for round 3 when he gets hammered and nails a Perkins waitress. ...

Re: 2015 Fantasy Golf League

What a stupid week this has been. We moved offices over the weekend, and as an IT guy that meant major involvement for me and the rest of the three-man department, resulting in us getting 15 hours sleep from Friday evening through Monday morning. Followed by a week of snagging. End result for my Fa...

That means you are picking him for the U.S. Open, right? I am going with long shot amateur, Justin Donglestrap from Iowa, U.S.A.!!!

I think when he accidentally flashed his pee-pee on live TV, it was the beginning of the end. How can you expect to carry a hobbled team to an NBA championship, how can you exude confidence, when your dong has been exposed like that in such ignominious fashion. Wouldn't be surprised if LBJ starts to...

Re: What is Most Satisfying?

But the most satisfying is hands down when you hit a long iron where you dont even feel the ball make contact with the club. It is just like a practice swing where nothing got in the way. That is the most satisfying swing in golf imo. Even though it may not be the "sexiest" or the one people rememb...

Re: What is Most Satisfying?

It is the well struck iron approach. I don't think there is any disputing this. The flushed drive is fine, but once it hits the apex the drama is kind of over. The target is wide; you bend down and grab the tee before touchdown. But with the iron shot hit towards the flag, you are transfixed. Time s...
