Re: Poison Ivy - What would you do?
Is poison ivy considered a dangerous condition, like say an alligator or fire ants? He might get free relief. And if there was a question like that, could he have played two balls to finish the hole (under each relief option, free drop and unplayable) and then ask the rules committee at the end of t...

You ought to check to see if you can get MLB Extra Innings through your cable provider and/or look at ESPN+ since they are showing a crapload of MLB games not being shown nationally. Of course, you would think you torture yourself enough playing golf. You must really be a masochist wanting to watch ...

Followed it up with a 96 (other three guys shot 94, 94, and 98) on an away course where we should have played one tee up. (21.6 differential)

Well, the course I was at is not allowed to serve alcohol until noon, and we were done at 10:30, so we came to Montgomery and had a $121 tab at Twin Peaks.

I friggin hit my best drive of the day. Everybody (including me) thought I was going to blow the drive 40 yards right to the other course. Hit a decent lay up, and stuck my lob wedge to a foot and a half.

Exactly. I have been saying this (and probably have here on this site at some time or another) for years. Not only did architects not ever imagine speeds this fast, there was no equipment capable of cutting it that short or rolling it that smooth. So what type of equipment did you use? Did it use g...

I saw someone was talking to one of the local caddies after the 1st round, and he was asked what do the members do when the wind blows out of the direction that it blew in the 1st round, and his reply was that they played cards.

Missed the Fowler and Fleetwood win bet, but did get Fleetwood before the tourney at 8-1 for Top 5.
Preliminary look for Brit Open is Fleetwood at 28-1 to win.

There is a word for any people who, in the face of 90 degree temperatures and 90% humidity, would force others to wear collared shirts, and khaki shorts, and belts, and to tuck those shirts into the stupid shorts, and th...

I was at work, opened the app, and saw he was -11 for the round after 16. I went upstairs to talk to one of my golf playing managers, and joking around said he was probably going to put two in the water on 17. Damned if he did not proceed to rinse one.

Yes, but don't ask me how...lol. But if you ever get in depth reading about the pros, you hear about how they(or have the trailer guys for the manufacturers)do a lot of funky things with their wedges to get them the way they like them.
