Re: The Tiger Thread

So I was going to watch the back 9. Decided to go to the range and work on my golf swing. Nostradamus I am not. Although I could have taken a page out of his book and just predicted something vague.

Re: The Tiger Thread

I have this feeling tiger goes really low today. Something like 62 or 63. I wouldn't put money on that, just an odd feeling.

Re: WTF did you shoot today?

So I got around to looking at stats for the round. 28 putts, this is my first sub 30 putting round in years, this includes a 3 putt from 18' on #14 where I mentally gave up and just blew a putt 8' past the hole. Then I decided to try to get my shit together for the last 3 holes (I didn't). Here are ...

The country is great until you need to get groceries.

Probably somewhere between Savannah and where I am now.

Re: WTF did you shoot today?

88 for my first round in 6 weeks. Couldn't hit the ball at all but I just kept holing putts. In tiger terms I turned a 98 into an 88 today.

So much disappointment in my ball striking today. Not a single shot hit solidly. I just want to crawl into a corner and cry it was so bad.

Humidity has now reached tragicomic level. For the last month, every day has been humider than the last. That means that anytime you see me, it's on the humidest day of my life.
Love me some office space.

Re: Tiger Woods's Stinger

It takes a lot of distance off the club. If you hear tiger talk he carries his stinger 240ish. I bet a normal 2i for him carries 270+

Re: Random thoughts

I make the argument that racism is a spectrum. Everyone is racist to an extent. If you walk into 2 different unknown bars. One is full of people who look exactly like you and one is full of people who look completely different. Do you have the same reaction? If you are being honest the answer is no....

Re: Forced Carry - Thought Process

I don't really think about them unless it's a 190+ yard carry. I get a yardage I want to hit the ball, figure out shot shape I want to hit and determine what club I need for those two things to match up. If there is water or something short so be it.

Re: Describe Your Best Shot of the Month

So ironically it was a ball I found and it has a logo of a remodeling company (VB Homes) on it. Unfortunately my wife works for a competitor of theirs. That's not irony by the way. That is more like a coincidence. Yes I am a irony nazi. So I'm not disagreeing with you as I'm confident you have a be...

Oh yeah it's not hard to fix. Hell I fell through my bedroom ceiling when doing work in the attic that was a big f'ing hole to fix. I'll have it fixed before I get a new net delivered

Re: driving range confessions

At the course I go to practice in the morning they have a nice chipping green right next to the large putting green. Normally people don't have a problem seeing the difference or the 3 signs around the putting green that say "no chipping." So some random guys who aren't from around the area, they we...

Re: The Open

His only realistic chance is if wind picks up like it's calling for. If it's calm again he'll have to shoot a 62 at absolute worse to get the win, and that might not even be good enough if it's calm. If the wind blows shooting 3-4 under might be able to get it done. So I think he's praying for some...
