Re: 2023-24 Winter golf support group thread
Please nobody move to the very westernmost edge of your timezone just to get some extra twilight holes in. It is a devil's bargain. Not a lot of people know this. But whatever extra daylight you get at the end of the day, you lose from the morning.

2023-24 Winter golf support group thread
That's right. After two years, the novelty of California living is wearing off and I am now relapsing into seasonal, uhh, affectedness? The weather here is fine. I cannot complain about that. But the shortening days, the advancing darkness of night, these are affecting me harder than ever. I am feel...

Re: Welcome Back CeeBee!
Just looking over the latest wave of spambot registration attempts. There are so many. It is a minor miracle I was able to find CeeBee among all that. I should remind @DougE, @GBOGEY, @bkuehn1952.2 and @MattF that you all as mods have the power to approve new users. Use it!

Re: PGA/LIV/DPW 2023
Pro golf is mainly about money matters at this point. I cannot really think of anything more boring. I prefer to keep a positive outlook. That is to say, we have had an extremely good run, better than any golf-on-tv watcher could reasonably have hoped for. It is the kids today that I pity. They are ...

Hang tough MattF. My neighbors are in their 70s and got it. With paxlovid they were back up and about in a few days.

Re: the Tiger thread
Still a fascinating freak even at this stage. The upper body build is slightly insane. Bigger than ever. Doesn't quite look natural. If it is then I am inspired, because I am similar in age, and I split my nutsack pumping iron like, every day. Maybe I could be bulging out of my shirts too, I am just...

Welcome Back CeeBee!
CeeBee Sorry about all that! It was nothing personal. The board has been in disarray ever since the big meltdown. For some reason, we still get bombarded by spam bots trying to sign up every day. And since the number of actual good faith users trying to get in is near zero, it is very easy to get l...

Re: Best Shot of the Month
My September was a bit truncated by a 2 week visit to Sweden and Denmark. So the best shot goes all the way back to September 4th. It was the second (last) day of the Livonia City Championship. The leader of the "Super Senior" flight had shot a 71 gross the first day. 2nd place was held b...
