Re: the Tiger thread

I am starting to move on from Tiger. If he announced he was playing some tournament in December, it would not move the excitement needle for me anymore. When he actually plays and is in contention on Sunday, maybe I might get re-Tigerized.

Re: Stories of Golf Unhappiness (aka golf grumble)

Our club was scheduled to play a tournament at my "home course," Leslie Park GC. I was Tournament Director. The forecast on Monday, for the next day, was steady to hard rain from midnight until 5:00pm Tuesday. I stopped at the course Monday and spoke to the Director of Golf. I asked him if...

MattF at Ballyhack Golf Club

The golf group Matt was in had two 4 person teams. Matt won all his matches, both singles and team matches. His partner in the team portion was an LET professional, Connie Chen. He should have some good stories when he gets home and decompresses.

A lot beaten up. On the plus side, Matt is getting a lot of stuff and a golf experience.

I have joined the other forum and I think they revel too much in playing really difficult courses at long yardages.

Had a good playing my home course. Longer than normal for my typical course at 6,222 yards. 77 for a 6.1 differential. Happy.
