Re: Banned

Lol. BTW I saw your post prior to Nathan deleting it a couple days ago. It wasn't really something I'd consider something worth deleting if I worked for Skygolf or OOB. What did you do to piss him off? Your anger toward Nathan/SkyGolf is really getting funny. I have no anger towards him, I just thi...

Re: My Unpublished Last oob Essay - Battle of the Websites

I'm not surprised they didn't publish that there...there will be NO dissension at skygolf, ever. Otherwise Nathan throws a hissy and deletes the post.

BTW, did anyone invite Joe Jones or is that not gonna happen?

Recycle it bk.

jfurr, when I build the rest of the clubs, I'll try to take more photos of the process for you. I'm also probably going to cut down my driver at the same time, so I'll record that for posterity as well.

Re: Courses with a Split Personality

Brandywine Golf Course in Peninsula, Ohio. The front is fairly benign and not bad at all, but the back nine features severe elevation changes and a Z hole par 5 that, unless you are very good with a fairway wood, you're not making the second corner for a shot at the green.

Re: Club building, repairs, mods, refurb etc

Thank you...the irons are forged and when hit in the sweet spot, you don't even feel the ball. Surprisingly, the cast hybrid feels the same when hit in the sweet spot too and at about $30 a head I'm saving a lot of $$ too.

Re: Personal Launch Monitors and Swing Monitors

You know my thoughts on skygolf and their products. The skytrak is yet another product that has/had been rushed to market before testing was complete...but they may have worked the bugs out of it since release. There are cheaper ones around that are fully tested and proven, like the ES 12 ($250) and...

Re: Club building, repairs, mods, refurb etc

Here is my first effort...if I knew it was really this easy, I would have done it quite some time ago. I'm going to build the rest of the set 3 and 4 hybrid and 7, 8, and 9 irons. I'm reusing the FST shafts I have in the irons and am also using the same FST's in the hybrids. http://i279.photobucket....

Re: 2015 Ben Hogan Irons

From what I've heard they're going to be forged, but they may be tru form forged like the scors. Looks like the P53 irons are their own design, but old school. I take that from reading the article that you linked. SCOR/Hogan are in Victoria, TX and P53 are in Fort Worth, almost 300 miles away. We'll...

Re: 2015 Ben Hogan Irons

I know they will be forged and they will have the V-sole...that's it. I can guess that they'll have the genius shaft made by KBS and the Lamkin grips like they do with the SCOR wedges.

Back to the original question...2-3 days is about all these old bones could do, if I had the time. Currently I have Sundays off, so that doesn't leave a lot of time for golf let alone house maintenance, lawn care, beer making and couch surfing.

A HIO is a HIO regardless of what club is used. I would suspect that the person who ridiculed is likely the one that hasn't had one yet, or if they have, they're just an arsehole.
