Sort of Humorous - Parte Seconda

Not David's best but a few are gems: David Feherty Quotes: On his caddie, Rodney Wooler, and him being on the same page: “Not only was Rodney never on the same page as me, he was seldom in the same book and often not even in the same library.” On quitting drinking: “I didn’t quit drinking because I ...

Re: Stories of Golf Happiness

I decided to rename / broaden your best shot thread. I know the admins may overrule. Today on #3, par 5 listed at 486, I hit two 5W's to about 25 yards short of the green and 30 yards from the flag. I must have really cut the corner because there is no way that I hit two 5W's that far distance wise...

Re: Stories of Golf Unhappiness (aka golf grumble)

Now for the real grumble - my handicap has been steadily rising. Last week I reached levels I hadn't seen in 6 years. The one solace was this: I knew at some point I would top out at an 8 or 9, but then I would be a really good 8 or 9, and eventually that would help me in some of the local competit...

I have a shag bag like the one shown in the photo that is around 30 years old. It gets used early in the season when I practice at a local park (a couple of ball fields in the summer). I almost never see anyone using one of these.

Re: PGA/LIV/DPW 2023

Finally a Brian wins a major golf championship. Congrats to Bkuehn, and to a lesser extent Bryan K. Thank you. I am sure Mr. Harman was aware how important it was to perform well as a fellow “Brian.” In the past 12 months the Brian’s have bagged two prestigious titles: the O&ELCGC-SSD and The O...

PGA/LIV/DPW 2023

I watched a fair bit of the Open yesterday. No great insights. I am pulling for Rory but he does not seem to have it this week. We will see if Harmen comes back to the field or runs away with it. He looked very solid yesterday.
