I wear my sunglasses on course, so I can...

Actually I am now realizing that I do not like wearing them, not while hitting a shot at least. Wish I could just keep them on the whole day, but it is a lot less comfortable visually, swinging with shades. And people like me obviously cannot afford to make golf any more difficult.

Same as you. I take them with me. They usually ride in the cart. I wear them before the round and after, but only every now and then when riding, not swinging. Can't putt with them either.

Thank God. I thought that maybe I was weird for getting bothered by sunglasses.

On a side note, I kind of like placing them upside down on the back of my head like I'm Guy Fieri or something (in an ironical way obviously).

So I have to wear glasses of some sort due to not having great vision. I wear them all the time so it doesn't bother me.

Same boat as Fish, I wear glasses all the time, love my prescription sunglasses on the course, with the gold tint for better green reading.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

I cannot see the ball in flight with (prescription) sunglasses on.

I'm perfectly fine with everything else. I just can't see the freaking ball.

So since this was brought up, i've tried to play with the glasses on, and it's not as bad as i had thought. Just standard polarized sunglasses and i haven't really seen any issue. I've also shot pretty poorly, but i don't think it's related since it's just driver.

So I played 4 holes this morning w/ my normal glasses on because it was cloudy.

I noticed that it only bothers me when I'm putting because I'm holding my face straight down to the ground my glasses (if they have slid too far down my nose) will just swing free from my ears. Then I have to push them back up my face.

I don't have this issue w/ sun glasses but I just noticed it this morning.

Sounds like they need to be fitted.

Or get one of those ultra cool straps that say REEBOK in big bold letters to wrap around the back of your head.

So a few years ago I was in a pro shop at the end of the year and they were selling out their sunglasses. I don't remember but I paid either $20 or $40. Turned out they were a pair of sundogs which I found out were pretty nice. Loved these glasses.

So then after reading these posts I started thinking I really should take them with me when I played - that much sun isn't good for your eyes. About the 3rd round of doing this I propped them up on my pull cart. Only they fell off. Then I stepped on them. Which wouldn't have been so bad - they snapped back into place - but where they fell was on the cart path and when I stepped on them it totally scratched up the lens. So now I have to buy another pair. :bawl

My move is to rest the glasses up on the bill of my cap, then forget they're there, then I take off the cap and the glasses go flying and hit the floor. Smooth.
