Re: Forum Software update
you even have snow falling and I can adjust where the "wind" is coming from with my mouse.
Wow high tech.

Keep it short stupid.
Re: Forum Software update
How long has it said "Roll over, Ben Hogan?" at the top? Because now I'm going to have Chuck Berry stuck in my head all day.
The first bulb I broke scared the shit out of me. I have to disconnect the surround sound. It sounded like one of the cats got into something, and I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out what it was.

The falling snow is trippy, too. I almost didn't notice it. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes.
It's a lot like driving down the freeway in the middle of a snow flurry when you're tired.

Re: Forum Software update
Glad everyone likes the Christmas decorations.
Another nice improvement is with the instagram embedding. So now when you want to embed a stupid Michelle Wie post, like this
now you get the vapid comment to go along with the attention whoring image.

Re: Forum Software update
I had a rough day at work today so I came here, unmuted the sounds, and smashed a few bulbs. Feeling better now.
Re: Forum Software update
I am just wondering if the Christmas lights are going to stay up until April.

I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Re: Forum Software update
Just noticed that the festive lights have rendered the search box unusable at this time. Oh well. Small price to pay for a merrier Christmastime.

Re: Forum Software update
Great news everybody. I fixed the search function, no really fixed it this time. Deleted the whole "search index" and then rebuilt it. For once it actually works.

Re: Forum Software update
The xmas lights and snow will have to go soon, as they cause my computer to heat up.
After seeing Doug here shortly after midnight on 1/1 made me wonder if we should have a chat feature. I looked up an extension, maybe we'll install it later, test it out. Could be fun.

Keeping the lights up for a little longer but the snowflakes are kind of overkill right now

I have been relying on those lights to help me burn off steam.

Re: Forum Software update
We still have an xmas tree, I figure once that gets thrown into the chipper, is when I'll take down the forum lights. Then maybe we can discuss an Easter bunny type theme or whatever for the spring.
