Wait! You can't stand Robert Plant's voice but you (presumably) like Axl Rose's voice? That whingy, nasaly, whiny noise he makes is SO awful! I'd probably quite like GnR if it wasn't for that little prick...

:-)
The guy makes a solid point. :geek:
When Axl was younger, before he destroyed his voice, I thought his voice was pretty good for his genre of music. Starting with the Use Your Illusion albums, I began to realize that Axl had really lost it. They used a lot of harmonization (Shannon Hoon) in those albums to try to hide it, but some of those songs are unlistenable on a really clear Bose or Harman Kadron sound system.

My random thought of the decade: I love living in Phoenix because I can golf all year round at a variety of some 250+ different courses. The allure of being a kid in a candy store with all of that variety has worn off, though, and now I just want somewhere I can play affordable 2-3 times a week without having to drive 30-40 minutes every time I want to play. In order to accomplish that, I'm probably going to have to move. I'm in the wrong part of the Valley for golf, and I'm definitely in the wrong part of the valley for affordable golf. Being someone who intends to get in at least 100-150 rounds in a year, I really have no desire to play anywhere posh. I just want to pay a monthly (or yearly) fee and be done with it.

If you can't grasp the concept of dual drive through lanes you should be castrated.

I like Plant's and Rose's voices (the young versions). Age and hard living didn't do either any favors, though. For me, Geddy Lee was an acquired taste, but he grew on me over time.

What exactly, is sporty about a "sport coat" or worse, a "sports-jacket"? in 2015, a "sport coat" is about the least sporty garment one could wear in public. Wearing a "sport coat", you can't even raise your arms above your freakin head. If that's what people once considered sportswear, what the hell did they wear on formal occasions?

Just watched an hour-long MTV program entitled "Videos That Don't Suck". That is sad, because the obvious implication is that the videos they play at all other times, do suck. Now at first look this might seem like an oversight in semantics, rather than a subconscious admission on the network's part that most music videos in 2015 do indeed "suck". In reality it's probably both.

I think pretty much all music videos, even from the 1980s, suck. You ever go back and try to watch some of that crap? It was different when I was 11 and didn't realize it was all lip synched.

I forgot to put the bleu cheese away yesterday after I went grocery shopping. It sat on the counter overnight. How do I tell if there is anything wrong with it?

Maybe if it looks furry. In any case just slice off the exterior and no worries. It should be okay. Couple months ago I ate a yogurt that'd been left out for 24 hours.

If it's Papillon Organic Roquefort from Whole Foods (definitely not the real thing from France), throw it away (no kidding!): it may have listeria and has been recalled. Otherwise, you are fine.

I opened the cheese and took a whiff. Forty minutes later when I woke up, I decided that I had better toss it.

I wonder how pissed people in my family will be if I start sending out $50 "stock" gift cards for Christmas?

Get a $50 apple gift card and realize you can't use it for your Iphone. Maybe next year I wont have to buy any presents.

Thinking about ketchup today. As I threw away the bag my lunch came in along with four packets of ketchup, I began to wonder what percentage of ketchup in the United States gets eaten every year compared to what gets wasted. I'm guessing it's close to 50/50.

Is there a better value in junk food than Costco's $1.50 1/4 pound hot dog and soda pop (w/refill)?

Beef,
I have an idea for increasing your gut, and it only costs you $20.

That's a great point. And doesn't it seem like you either get no ketchup at all, or else a whole massive fistload of them?
