I don't know what got into the dog couple nights ago. He was a bottomless pit of douchebag energy. Insisted on playing fetch with both ball and flying disc. Then he started digging around under some furniture, trying to explore new places inside the apartment. We are trying to chillax and then he plants himself right in front the tv like a statue and stares at us like a total creep. Then at bedtime he decided to upend his whole bed, burrowing like he's hunting for imaginary gophers or something. Finally he collapsed in a heap--next to the bed. He annoyed us pretty much all night. I guess looking back it was kind of funny. Just when you think you know someone.

Oh, shit. Yeah - the nut cutting. Ruff.

I slept downstairs on the couch with my little friend. He sleeps on the floor, I sleep on the couch. Until he decides at 2am - lets get a running head start and jump on my master's chest, while he's sleeping. Holy shit! What a way to wake up. I'm gonna get him back. Maybe I'll cut his nuts off.

He will probably double in size at the least. Good luck. Hope you teach him to be a good boy, before it's too late.

He's well behaved (for the most part). I been getting him out & about as much as I can while he's young. Exposure & all.

Over/Under is set at 142.5 lbs.

Our dog spends 75% of his time trying to Jedi mind-control his owners into giving him snacks. The other 25% he is quite sweet and charming. I am getting kind of annoyed with Snack Monster though. He knows how to push it to the boundary of bad behavior without crossing it. He doesn't jump on you, he doesn't ever disrespect your space or try to take from you. He just sits like a statue and stares into your soul. And when you are trying to chillax and watch the tube, this shit can get rather annoying. But he's not technically violating a rule so it's hard to penalize the fucker. He is a devious little fox.

Our sweet golden retriever Belle went to sleep peacefully today. She was 12.5 years old and as good a girl as one could expect, but her body was failing her in so many ways: it was time. We miss her so much already. Hope to see her soon at the Rainbow Bridge.

It's gut wrenching thinking about losing a dog. A lady came over to us @ that dog thing - 50% joy, 50% heartbreak... she said she just lost her bullmastiff & needed to come over to meet ours. She had a smile on her face & tears in her eyes while hugging away @ Enzo.

I've got a million pics of Enzo... these are when he was still a bit younger.

Thanks Coda! Nice pics, all of them, but to me the look on the last one is the best. Enzo is gorgeous. Keep posting them, once in a while, please.

I gave the dog swimming lessons. Carried his ass out into the Atlantic Ocean, then held him in the water and presto, he starts paddling. I let him go and he motors on right back to shore. Really cool to watch the instinct kick in. To his own surprise I think, he likes the water. Pretty soon I had him retrieving balls and swimming them back. For a dog who spends his whole life in a city, I am impressed with his sense of adventure. He's a good sport.
