I've been cable free for 10 years. Digital over air via roof antenna and Apple TV box / Netflix. It's great.
I'm gonna hit a provisional

I don't. I know what you mean that would be a deal killer if I were into the ESPN type sports. But I'm not so its okay.

It's really just college football. Given my wife and I are fans of non local teams most games are on ESPN instead of broadcast

Mohu Leaf - I get HD: CBS, ABC, NBC, & Fox.

I get more than enough sports on those channels. If it ain't on that I just decided I don't care.
Hell, this Sunday morning the NFL has a game NOT on tv. Only streaming on yahoo.

Depends on what sports you want Jason. If you can just handle ESPN then you could stream sling tv for $20 a month through Roku. It's got ESPN 1 & 2, AMC, TBS, History, H2, Food Network, Travel Channel and other channels that I can't remember.

Watched Run Fatboy Run. Liked it, so did the wife (although she pre-judged it after just reading the title... saying what's this shit?)

Watching season 2 of Ray Donovan. I started watching the show on the plane back from Europe (yes, I live the life of a jet setter). I like his amoral morality, if that makes sense. My favorite line from season 1 was "Do you want the dye or the bat?"

I've seen (& liked) Hot Fuzz. I want sure if I've seen The World's End... I haven't but it's in my queue so I bumped it up near the top.

Watching Portlandia. I enjoy it but realize I've never seen the first season. Watching it now, it's not as good as later seasons.

Monuments Men, very good.
Spectre, very good.

Looking forward to seeing the Martian again.

Getting a lot of screen time in while sick. Earlier I watched whatever Beatles Anthology episodes I could find for free. The Beatles origin story to me is pure magic, it's probably my favorite story fiction or nonfiction in the entire history of the world. Four kids born in the same little war ravaged north England town, grow up with nothing. They get hold of American r&b and rock music and then light the world on fire with it. It's like, perfectly written. The gospels got nothing on it.

Now I'm watching some live Phish.

No, but I've heard it's pretty good. Did you see it? My wife won't watch any more horror films after being scarred by a double feature of Hostel and Wolf Creek some years ago.

Yeah. saw it at this awesome small theater we have here that features indie films, etc. And has craft beer on draught and wine at the concessions :)

I dislike horror movies -- this was more of a suspense/fairy tale type of thing. Not as weird as "Labyrinth" but dark and dreamy like that.

Saw "Gravity" on FXX last night. A real butt-clencher. I am glad I did not choose a career as an astronaut. Seems like kind of a high stress job.
