This is like the least anticipated SB in a while. Maybe it's because nobody is giving the Broncos a chance. Maybe it's because white people are tired of Cam Newton's crap. Maybe they're just tired of football and all its assorted bullshit. The felonies and what have you. Inflategate. Now the talk about football is mostly about concussions and guys retiring in their 20s. Not good for business I think. I watched the AFC championship and maybe it's just the heightened awareness in 2016 but the hits seemed harder. Now every time someone gets a hard tackle or block and you watch them try to shake it off it's a little disturbing.

...hope the Panthers blow doors. Especially since Manning's getting off on using HGH. That's suppose to be a 4 game suspension.

I quit watching much pro football (outside of the superbowl) when the NFL started blacking out TV viewing of non-sold out games within 75 miles of the stadium.

Also I watch college ball, so wasting an entire weekend with football seems unproductive.

Sunday will be a nice day to tee it up. Sorry NFL, I can't get it up for Superbowl 50. Besides you can always watch the f'n thing on your stupid phone. Think I will do that.

It will be a typical Super Bowl for me. Dinner with my spouse's large Italian family. The kids will arm twist me into playing cards or some board game and I may see a bit of football between playing Crazy 8's and the like. This year it doesn't seem so bad to miss the action because I have no feelings for either team. Meh as you youngster's used to say.

I'm sure my wife and I will do what we did last year. Record the game, then when my son is asleep fast forward through the actual game to watch the commercials, until we are caught up live.

With my team outta the mix it kinda sucks but I do like rooting against teams almost as much as rooting for my own.
I really hope this goes the right way.

Either way, I've got a good Super Bowl party to attend so F-it.

I've got some prop bets placed:

-No Score in the 1st 6m30s of the 1st Quarter
-Over 1.5 Receptions for CJ Anderson
-Under 30.5 Pass Attempts for Cam Newton
-Cam Newton more Passing Yards than Peyton Manning
-Over 67.5 Receiving Yards for Greg Olsen
-No Turnovers in the game
Low Round: 83, +11 Green Hill - 09/15/14
Low Round: 83, +11 Indian Meadows - 09/12/15

Another Duper Bowl into history. I am sure the defensive struggle was exciting for Denver fans but it makes for lousy TV viewing. The NFL really needs to eliminate the 2 week "pause" and roll with the game a week after the conference championships. Too much time for the coaches = boring football.

Denver got up in Cam's grill all day long and he simply couldn't handle it. Superman didn't show up. Obviously Carolina,s offensive line was terrible but in some ways Cam's poor post game interview showed his lack of maturity. I hope he comes out of this with a little less me, me, me and a lot more us.Much too much self promotion for my taste. Generational. Yes. Mea culpa, Mea culpa.

Very little went the right way. What was the lesson to be learned?

These 2 hit:
-Over 1.5 Receptions for CJ Anderson
-Cam Newton more Passing Yards than Peyton Manning

FADE THAT PICK, LOL.

That gambling doesn't pay. And that if you are going to do it, at least you are supposed to bet with your head not your heart. I think your heart wanted very badly for Peyton to lose. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But your betting portfolio should not be a reflection of your heart's desires. Duh, even I know that.

I don't bet as much as play a bankroll game. Did the same with PokerStars when I played online poker. When you do it right it's free entertainment.

This bet was personal tho!
(& I have doubled my account since I started in Sept. with the football season. Not bad imo)

Daily fantasy is diarrhea. Sports betting is balls. The poker seemed more difficult now, less fish!?

I have been playing a couple poker home games here & there. They just don't come up that often.

I loved playing plo because holdem got boring when everyone started playing the same preflop strategy. There is pretty much no chance of finding a home plo game that isn't too high stakes for me.

Plot Limit Omaha? I was intrigued by that game but never "went" over to it. I still think NL Hold 'em is boss to all poker games because the strategy/discipline it requires. If I had to play another, Omaha (despite Manning!) would prob. be 2nd?
