I'm flying out to California for work next week. Any recommendations on good books? Dosen't need to be golf related.
Personally I'm not a fan of fiction books. I just can't get into them. I like instructional, historical or biographical type books. I guess I'm just odd that way.

Miracle at Midway by Gordon W. Prange
My father flew Grumman TBF/TBM Avengers off the carrier Saratoga during World War II. He was not at Midway but I have always appreciated books about naval aviation.

Re: Book recommendations?
When I do read for pleasure, I'm pretty much a mystery man so I'm probably not much help. However, I recently read a book called "The Blackhouse," which was a great mystery but also great because it takes place on the Isle of Lewis (off the northwest coast of Scotland) and describes life there in great detail which I didn't know existed.
