Male Chauvinist Pig Test

Post by bkuehn1952 » Fri Feb 10, 2017 4:27 pm

Do you pass or fail the test?

SPEEDING TICKET
A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks him very nicely if he could see his license.
He replied in a huff, 'I wish you guys would get your act together.
Just yesterday you take away my license and then today you expect me to show it to you!

I failed the test. When I started reading the joke, I had to go back and re-read it. I decided there must be a typo and not "he" but it should be "she" because ... oops...I guess there are blonde MALE drivers. :facepalm

So is passing it noticing that it says "he" or not noticing it says "he"?

The language is inherently chauvinistic, so there's no use in pointing fingers. "Blonde" is generally understood as being synecdochical for "blonde-haired woman" and rarely ever for "blonde-haired man".
Build a bridge and get over it.

Agree. Sort of like an old brain teaser where they talk about a doctor and the punch line is the doctor can't operate because the patient is "my son" ... which makes no sense until one realizes the doc is a woman. Many of us older gents picture "Marcus Welby" when "doctor" is mentioned. But I am slowly being trained.

Talk about male chauvinist pigs, have you seen the men's hotness/craziness/marriage matrix presentation? If not, you might enjoy a seat at the conference room table for this presentation. No coffee or doughnuts will be served, but still worth sitting in, so pull up a chair.

I had to go back and reread the first sentence in order to realize that the police officer was a man. What the fuck does that say about me?
