Stan Kroenke

What is this guy's reputation over there in USAland?

Here in the UK he owns (more accurately, he's the majority shareholder) my beloved Arsenal Football Club, and let me tell you, us Arsenal fans do NOT like him one bit. For him it seems to be only about profit. He seems quite happy for Arsenal to finish 4th in the Premier League so that we can play in the - highly lucrative - European Champions League.

This year that is just not going to happen. Arsenal are in 6th place and have lost 4 of the last 5, the players look disinterested (even lazy!), the manager seems out of fresh ideas, our player transfer activity has been lacklustre for years, and even the fans are arguing with each other on match days.

And what we see why Kroenke is known as Silent Stan. He's sad nothing. Even the board who supposedly run the club on his behalf have been completely silent, other than an substanceless ("We'll make an announcement at the appropriate time") press release last week.

So, do you guys know how fans of his US sports franchises feel about him? How have those teams been performing under his ownership over the years?

I know the people in St Louis that WERE fans of the Rams don't like him for the way he left with the team. They more or less felt like he went out of his way not to get good in St. Louis to have an excuse to move to LA.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

My decision to be a Man U fan was likely forced by the fact they were the only EPL team to get covered where i grew up. They were owned by the Glaziers who also owned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (my hometown football team).
Keep it short stupid.
