Last time you lit a firework

Postby bkuehn1952 » Tue Jul 04, 2017 5:52 pm

It has to be 6-8 years ago. The grandkids are fairly old now and putting on a show for them would be the last time for me.

Lucky. I have not lived in a fireworks-legal county in many years. Fond memories of them though. When it comes to fireworks I say DIY is more fun than watching big public shows. I used to like ripping the base off a piccolo pete and watching it fly.

My window faces downtown and every 4th there's always lots of bottle rockets coming out of the ghetto neighborhood.

I think it was close to 20 years ago.

I have absolutely zero love for fireworks whatsoever. They aren't even legal in Maricopa County, but I know that I'm not getting any sleep the night of July 4.

Fireworks... hmmm...
Nice stuff. Just not a fan of the heavy artillery they call "consumers fireworks" these days. This is what new-year's eve looks like in a typical urban street. Friggin' warzone (including the casualties and everything... fireworks and alcohol don't mix well)
