Enjoy! Hey, maybe you'll run into Francesco Molinari.

Here's a travel tip for you BK: in Italy, they say "ciao" instead of "hello"!

They also use ciao when departing. Like "aloha" I think.

Wouldn't mind hearing about all the nice adult beverages along with the various cheeses, and meats, and pastas, and anti-pastas and what not.

Ms. Beef just came back from business trip to Paris, France. She brought me back a bag of "poulet roti" flavored Lay's potato chips. In English that's roasted chicken :puke Actually they are not bad once you get past the first couple.

What beer are you drinking with them?
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

I have been drinking Nastro Azura when not guzzling some local red wine served in a milk pitcher. I have a bottle of "Primitivo", whatever that is supposed to mean. Birthday gift.

Went to a buffalo farm where they make fresh bufalo mozzarella.

When I return, you will all have an opportunity to experience my photo essay on Italian buffalos. Not sure if it will be followed by a short film on "How I Spent My Summer Vacation." Working on that right now.

Finally, we were strolling the waterfront in Positano this morning. We were coming up to the Saracen tower when I saw a guy putting down a panel photographers use to reflect light. Hmmm, some sort of photo shoot. As we near the tower, out steps a nicely put together Italian woman in a string bikini. Of course we had to eventually return along the same route and darned if they weren't in another spot, blocking our walk with bikini clad women. Such an inconvenience. :heynow

We made it back. The last day was a bit of a bother. Up early and took a cab to the Napoli train station. Caught the 7:08 fast train to Roma Termini station. The fast train is no bullet train but books along at 150 miles per hour. Once at Termini, we bought tickets on the "Leonardo Express" to the airport. Found the terminal used by Air Canada and slowly worked our way through the various security and passport checkpoints. About nine hours on Air Canada to Toronto, where they made us wait on the plane because Customs was backed up (nice, just what we all wanted to do for an hour, stay on the plane). Finally got outside and began the search for the "Park n' Fly" van. Got to the car about 30 minutes later. We stayed in a Holiday Inn Express for the night and drove back to the Sunny Mitten yesterday.

Here is my favorite photo, night sky in Matera, Italy.

Naturally, when one is away from home for 14 days, a visit to the Laundromat is required. I don't own 14 pairs of undershorts. I spotted a nice place in Vieste and did a few of our items.

I don't speak or read Italian, other than a few phrases. Above the small washing machine, there was the following sign posted. I think it says, roughly, "DON'T TRY TO WASH YOUR WEDDING DRESS IN THE MACHINE."

I googled it...means "in this machine they do not wash bed comforters".
