Paperclips - online text based game
The human race is just a chemical scum on a moderate-sized planet, orbiting around a very average star in the outer suburb of one among a hundred billion galaxies

Re: Paperclips - online text based game
I realize I am not saying much about this so-called game. It is kind of a role-playing game, in which you play an artificial intelligence, whose task is to make paperclips. If you play it right, you make profit, and grow, and grow, and pursue that to the absolute logical end. Fascinating to anyone who has ever pondered AI, and its logical end. I don't want to give too much away, as I was fortunate enough to go into it with hardly any information or prejudgments. I had fun playing it though!

It was interesting. I kind of like games like that. it's simple with goals. I don't need fancy graphics. I'm a text based person.
So I left it running overnight. Today, I learned that there is an end.

No. It's probably good for players to know that there is an achievable end.bryan k wrote:It was interesting. I kind of like games like that. it's simple with goals. I don't need fancy graphics. I'm a text based person.
