Rory being such a Rory this week. Once the pressure is off, watch him go. Dang he is really good.

Disappointed in Tiger but grateful for yet another shot at it. He'll take over for Fred Couples, as the old guy always good for a respectable showing here.

The view from behind the 18th tee is truly terrifying. I wonder if I could avoid the trees, given two chances.
Let's Play 36
GHIN Handicap: 7.8 … 9.2 … Let’s just say I am around a 14!

Re: The Masters, 2020
DJ is the real deal and has been pretty much since his return to golf after his 6-month rehab a few years back. He probably finds all the Dechambeau talk and attention a bit funny. Bryson, Bryson, Bryson, yet DJ just seems to keep his head down and continues to show the world who's number 1. I like that about DJ.
I gave up my whole day to watch Tiger. Watched all 27 holes he played today on Masters.com. Didn't miss a single shot. What a waste of the day. I suppose there's still a chance he'll make a run, but a lot of guys will need to back up for him to have any chance. I'll be watching anyway, just in case all the planets align. I'm not counting on anything, but hey, stranger things have happened. Trump won the presidency in 2016 and Tiger won the Masters in 2019. So, there's hope.

I feel like Tiger's the opposite. Once there's no chance to win, it's sort of why concentrate to try for a top ten.legitimatebeef wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 1:53 pmRory being such a Rory this week. Once the pressure is off, watch him go. Dang he is really good.

@gbogey I noticed your comment above was made at 11:40. I think Tiger mucked up the 12th hole with the 3 balls in the water at about 11:35. Makes perfect sense.

Re: The Masters, 2020
I don't care what you guys say. Tiger actually won this tournament, by a lot.
Dustin Johnson, best ballstriker of this generation? Sure seems like it. When he is on, I think he hits it better than anyone even Rory. I can't really remember the last time Dustin hit one off the planet. Maybe one of the greatest ballstrikers of all-time, what the hell do I know.

Re: The Masters, 2020
If you take out the 10, this was an exceptionally good back nine for Tiger. When does he ever birdie 17 and 18

Re: The Masters, 2020
They said He had never birdied 15 16 17 18 the masters.
if he had a bogey instead of a 10 he would have been about 7 under or so... not bad, considering he had 27 holes on Saturday.
It was good to see him playing like he can. Hope we see more like that in April.
When Dustin is on, boy is he on.
Imagine if he didn’t have a blah round 2.
I enjoyed this week, best thing about November masters, only a few months until the next one!!!
