This week the LPGA travels to the state of Washington for the the playing of the KMPG Women's PGA Championship. This is the second Major Championship of the season. It is also the start of an extremely important part of the 2016 LPGA schedule that will include 3 Major Championships and the UL International Crown in the next 8 weeks.

Hard to believe the KPMGWPGAC is already here.

Here is a wild prediction for you all. Michelle Wie wins the KPMGWPGAC. Completely flipping the script. Golf story of the decade right there. Of course a sidebar story to that will be me cancelling my internet and never watching professional golf again thereafter. But whatever, I have a weird apocalyptic feeling about Michelle this week, and pro golf is about due for one of these out of oblivion winners.

Clearly there is some sort of chemical imbalance going on. Michelle is currently T141 with only a few holes between her and the airport, yet to make a single birdie in the whole tournament. I guess the course didn't fit her eye this week. Oh well.

It was an entertaining finish. The ladies were dropping putts from all over the place.

Visually, some of those holes looked very narrow. I suspect it is a combination of the TV angle, tall trees (make everything else look small) and the fact that they really are fairly narrow. Ariya (did I get the right one?) Jutanugarn looks like she can win every tournament; she hits a 2-iron as far as everyone else's driver and the rest of her game is virtually flawless. Definitely more interesting than watching some guy named hamburger beat Phil.
Let's Play 36
GHIN Handicap: 7.8 … 9.2 … Let’s just say I am around a 14!
