I sort of answered my own question. The matches were made in a "semi-blind" draw. I have no idea what a "semi-blind" draw means. Maybe it means that the captain selects the player who will play against another country but one does not know the opponent. A pure blind draw would be pick a name out of the hat to play against China Taipei (opponent unknown), pick another to play against Japan (opponent unknown), etc...bkuehn1952 wrote:...
