Now that the LPGA tournament is underway, I can share the scoop.

The afternoon weather is going to be windy and brutal. Then for tomorrow, the afternoon wave is going to see calmer winds. That means that half this field (those going out thursday afternoon) are being thrown to the wolves. I'm not a betting guy but I would bet that the weekend contenders will come from today's morning wave.

I'm glad I had no time to do any research. I picked 2 in today's morning wave :banana

She got saved by the horn. I'm glad, could've been a potentially shitty unfair situation.

Not sure what I scored because Jimmy Walker was MDF, although technically I think it means he made the cut... So Yeon Ryu won though, so that's something.
I'm gonna go low this time...

Had 2 top 10s and 2 made cuts. Given double points for the LPGA that gives me 84.

As of 8:33 Monday morning, the field has not been officially set for the Masters. However, here is the link we will pick from when it is.
http://www.owgr.com/en/Events/EventResu ... entid=6539

In the meantime here are the world rankings for most players in the field (and many not in the field) as of this morning:
http://www.owgr.com/ranking?pageNo=1&pa ... ountry=All

Use it to start thinking about your four picks which should be one from the top 25, 1 from 26th-50th, 1 from 51st-75th, and 1 from all players over 75th in the world and/or amateurs.

Still pissed about what they did to Lexi yesterday!

I say for Masters let's do double major points. And I also think we should do four masters picks.

I'm not so sure I agree, particularly since you are the only one who gets to pick DJ, however if I am overruled this would be the scoring for the Masters:

Winner gets 200 points
2nd? (see below)
Top 10 gets 100 points
Make Cut 24 points
Miss Cut (-20) points

This could change the standings drastically. (I was going to say "bigly" but Beef already beat me to it in his post above.)

I propose something special for 2nd place. He should get more than just top 10 points. How about 125 for 2nd place?

All in favor? (Trust me, you will be if your guy finishes 2nd! Jus sayin'.)

Can you all quit making fun of our awesome president while I'm passing through nc, sc, and ga? I really don't feel like getting shot by someone with 8 teeth because I was checking my phone.

No offense furr

I like Doug's idea for 125 pts for second place.

Go DJ! Bring the green jacket to SC!

Here's the format for picking this week:
4 Picks for the Masters
Points are quadrupled from standard week
Special points for 2nd place finish this week only. (125)

DUSTIN JOHNSON IS OFF LIMITS (except to JFurr)

Pick only one player from top 25 in world rankings
Pick only one player from 26-50th in world rankings
Pick only one player from 51st to 75th in world rankings
Pick only one player ranked 76th or higher in the world rankings.

World rankings can be found here:
http://www.owgr.com/ranking?pageNo=1&pa ... ountry=All

Make sure all players you pick are actually playing in the Masters this year. Just because they are in the top 100 or so, doesn't mean they are in the field. And some oldtimers/past winners who are in the field, aren't even in the top 500, but still available to pick, should you so desire.
