Somebody commented that for the next several weeks every pro is going to be REALLY careful with marking & replacing. :facepalm Talk about a recipe for slowing down play even further.
Let's Play 36

Gotta remember they are in Hawaii, you are probably only looking at the early wave's scores.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Columbia, SC's Own Mi Hyang Lee

Post by legitimatebeef » Fri Apr 14, 2017 12:06 pm

I understand that the western sports media wants you all to believe that Korean pro golfing women are soulless and robots. But I am a firm believer that this narrative is false. I believe they are humans just like us. As such, they sometimes live among us. That's right, not a generic "us" but the literal "us", as in Bkuehn and as I have just found out, Jfurr too.

Mi Hyang Lee is on the leaderboard at this week's Lotte Championship. In her post-round interview she was asked about Columbia, SC and how it came to be her home base in the U.S. The answer was not particularly interesting or revealing, but the fact remains: an LPGA player from Korea, of her own free will, chose to live in Columbia, SC. Maybe she's a big Hootie fan.

A KLPGA player leads by three after three rounds. I don't know anything about the player (except that she was an In Gee Chun classmate at Korea's famed Hampyeong High School For Golf Prodigies) but I am rooting for her. Just to see an outsider show up these whiny pre-Madonnas. Also the industrial golf complex, it tends to fuck their shit up when a complete unknown from the far east wins one of their tournaments.

Hmmm... It's "prima donna" (i.e. first lady), not pre-Madonna. Not that it makes a huge difference to your argument. But it needed to be said. :rofl

No, it's pre-Madonna. Everyone knows the pop singer Madonna is a huge self-centered cunt. So pre-Madonna means like, on the verge of (becoming a huge cunt). I'm not gonna say these LPGA girls are full-blown you know whats. But getting there. Like a kid who's 11 or 12 years old, you say they are pre-adolescent.

I am pulling for In Gee Chun. I like "Known Quantities." We don't need every lady on the LPGA to win a single event. Let's get some super stars.

I know right? That woman. Is both the dirtiest and the most arrogant player in golf. God what a dirty and arrogant player. Dirty because she games her opponents so hard, pulls all sorts of shenanigans to throw people off their game. Like playing really slow. And arrogant because even after hitting a decent shot into the final green with a three shot lead, she makes a huge show of bitching and moaning and why did that ball not roll down the slope toward the hole. Graceless down to the very last swing.

I'd hate to be her caddie. Guarantee he gets the blame for any result she doesn't like.

The big story of the moment is Lydia Ko firing caddies. I looked everywhere but could not locate two shits to give, and I am a big fan of so-called women's golf. Tongues are wagging however. People just love drama and other people's misery.

If you are like me, you probably always wondered about the next-level luxury lifestyle of Korea's Queen of Golf. Well, wonder no more my friends. Inbee Park has started an instagram.

Did anyone catch the final round yesterday? Brutal windy conditions. Brutal for the viewer as well. I think they took over five hours to finish in twosomes. I made a big emotional gamble by watching most of the finish including playoff, and fortunately it paid off. Not a Haru Nomura fan but a Cristie Kerr hater (or as I call her, Ol' Dirty Bastard). That's right, I watched golf wanting to see someone get beat. Forgive me Lord.

The Greatest Show (of ladies professional golf) In the (golfing) World is once again rolling into Bkuehn's town.

The Volvik Championship is in its second year. Or third. Shit I can't remember. Fourth? Whatever! It's a fairly new tournament.

Looking forward to looking for Bkuehn on the telecast. Here are the TV times (ET):

Thursday & Friday: 7-9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 3-6pm

BK, have you decided on your t-shirt message yet? I am partial to "Global Golf fucked over the Beefster" but if you want to tone it down a bit with "Global Golf screwed the Beefster" or even "Beware of Global Golf"... I'll be disappointed but accepting.

I was thinking, "Global Golf Provided a Disappointing Customer Response to the Beefster! Not Nice!" The problem, of course, is getting the message on one side of my tee shirt, yet still large enough to be seen globally on the televised coverage. I am open to suggestion.
