Europe KICKED OUR ASS!

Tiger and Phil 0 and 6. Ouch. (Or was it 0 and 7?)

Only real bright spots on US team: Justin Thomas & Web Simpson
I suppose I can take some solace in the fact that they are both Titleist Tour Staff players. As is Spieth, but he was no Justin or Web this RC.

And why wasn't Spieth paired with Patrick Reed, who together were quite successful in past RC? Evidently, there is some sort of dissension between them. One of them---not sure which---did not want to play with the other.

I see Paul Casey and Brooks keopka halved their match. There was a missed opportunity to settle it with arm wrestling.

If anyone came here to whine about the US losing in the cup match, listen to me.

SUCK IT UP

I am begging you. All sporting results are insignificant, and the Ryder Cup is way down on the list of what's important in sports.

Losing in the Ryder Cup sucks in kind of the same way it sucks to lose a match to your schlubby friend. Unfortunate but hardly world news.

This was probably the worst Ryder Cup ever. So much hurt feelings and conflict. To top it all off, a European spectator has now lost an eye thanks to an errant Brooks Koepka tee shot. I am not even kidding around here. The world would be a slightly better place right now, if this last Ryder Cup had not taken place. I thought the whole point of golf and shit was to have fun. Goddamn motherfuckers. :onfire

Cameron Champ. Is he the next generation bomber?

His slowest recorded ball speed this year is 190.52 mph. That is 2.5mph faster than the fastest recorded ball speed last year on the PGA tour.

So far he's averaging 193.25mph ball speed, which is 8.38mph faster than #2 Brandon Hagy. To put in perspective there are 21 guys within 8.38mph of Hagy.

I don't care that the season just got started, those are some insane stats.

He does it with a Ping 400 Max driver. I don't know that specific club, but given that it's a Ping 400 it has to be a game improvement club of some sort so all the more impressive that it hits it that far.
