That's 16 hours of live coverage. Pretty sure that's more than stupid CBS showed of wondrous, heavenly Masters tournament.
Yeah I bet they won't say "pageantry" as much in those 16 hours though.
Keep it short stupid.

Seriously people, women's golf is such a nice breath of fresh air after the stuffiness and hand-wringing and pompousness of a men's Major, especially Masters. A nice reminder that in the grand scheme of things, professional golf is just another jerkoff TV show to watch, whose outcome has no bearing whatsoever on real actual life.

Does Lydia Ko still get mentioned a lot? She has plenty of time to get her game back but she has been in a bit of a slump, yes?

I just discovered recently that Survivor is still on. I watched seasons 2 through 5 or 6, way back a million years ago.

This LPGA shit is a literal snoozefest, so far at least. I am an LPGA fan but man, LPGA in windy conditions, I don't know man. Kind of sucks.

NEW EVENT ALERT!!!

The inaugural LPGA LA Open is already upon us. Anticipation is pretty high, let me tell you. This course is very near to LA's massive K-town, so expect a wild ruckus atmosphere. This has the makings of the biggest turnout for the LPGA, in the mainland US at least.

TV Times (ET)
Thurs 6:30-9:30 (so-called "Golf" channel)
Fri 6:30-9:30 (so-called "Golf" channel)
Sat 6:00-9:00 (so-called "Golf" channel)
Sun 6:00-9:00 (so-called "Golf" channel)

I have a buddy that's going to that. I was sort of interested for a minute, but the thought of dealing with the aggravation and congestion of getting there to watch lady golf put me off. It's cool that it's a new venue. I'll watch it on TV, maybe attend another year, maybe.

:breaking Breaking News :breaking

American golf superstar Paula Creamer has revealed to Golfweek that she has split up with her husband.

http://golfweek.com/2018/03/11/rejuvena ... ff-course/
No response here whatsoever. People are so cold. :breaking
I'm confused. I just read an article about Paula in the May 2018 edition of GOLF Magazine. It was a Q & A article. There were questions about her being married for three years and how she met her husband. About having a family, blah, blah blah. I thought they split up a couple months ago. I would have thought GOLF would have been able to kill the story before going to print in this day and age of high tech print publishing. Not one mention of any trouble in Paradise in the article. Hmmmm.

It is rather disturbing how quickly and decisively the media has scrubbed Paula from the records. Yes it is true she has been sucking for a while but so have a lot of other players and yet they don't get the blackball for it. She must have done something to piss people off. Otherwise there is no reasonable explanation for the glaring silence. Paula is still a (golf) household name. A headline like "PAULA CREAMER SPLITS WITH HUSBAND" is very juicy, and yet no media entity is going near it. Fishy!

After reviewing the story again this morning, I went to the "...full, exclusive interview with Paula Creamer..." at the printed link shown in the sidebar of the printed story, Golf.com/roundwith. It's a feature they do every month called A Round With...(plug in player's name here). When you go to the page online, there are many different players with whom they did a Round with interview. Interestingly, the one with Paula Creamer---the one that the latest Golf Magazine tells you to go to---is nowhere to be found.

LPGA comes at you live this week from gay San Francisco.

This is a new event, yet another with a Korean sponsor. Jesus Christ, no matter which side of the "Koreans are killing golf" argument you are on, you have to wonder... what state would the so-called LPGA be in right now if not for the rise of the soulless Koreans? They don't just come here and usurp tournament trophies, you see. Now we are talking about real business companies, making real investments in LPGA golf, with real money, real TV and media coverage etc.

If anyone is killing women's golf right now it's us, and our indifference--nay, our outright contempt--for the sport.

Anyways here are the TV times (ET) for coverage on the so-called golf channel. :bored

Yes, she snapped her winless streak fairly emphatically. Minjee Lee made her work for it. That was a heck of a timely bunker hole out. After that I thought Ms Lee was destined to win.

Glad you got to enjoy it. It was an exceptionally spirited duel between two young counterparts. The young Korean-New Zealander phenomenon and her lesser-heralded but similarly talented Korean-Australian analog. For down under fans of ladies golf in the 2010s, it was a matchup they have been dreaming about for years, I would imagine. I liked it because they both played so well down the stretch, both very poised under what had to be intense pressure (it had been a while since each of their last wins), in other words nobody puked on herself, if you will.

Exactly. Down the stretch they made saves and birdies and did not back into the playoff. And in the playoff, Ms Lee even canned a fairly long birdie putt to make Ms. Ko make her eagle. Well played by both.
