The Open Picks

Post by srogers13 » Mon Jul 16, 2018 7:21 pm

OK, for The Open, I am taking Fowler and Fleetwood again, but I am also adding Branden Grace.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Oh, WTF. Tiger, Phil, Ricky Fowler. (This isn't costing me anything.)

Hank Haney is picking Tiger, so I'm going with Tiger. Hank Haney may be a shameless, spineless shill, but he probably knows more about Tiger and his golf game than any of you knuckleheads.

That's only 'cause I already picked Tiger. Hank always copies my picks.

Tiger

I mean with how short the course will play you should look for someone who is accurate and can putt recently Tiger hasn't really put both of these tributes together for 4 straight days. But I don't care.

Length is negated by the course playing so fast. So someone like Brian Harmon wouldn't be a bad pick either.

Ricky is 16-1 to win, Fleetwood 20-1, and Grace 45-1. Ricky is 3-1 for top 5, Fleetwood 3.75 and Grace 7. Tiger is 22-1 to win and 4.25 for top 5.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Well, Grace flamed out, but Fowler and Fleetwood are not looking bad, yet.

Anybody like any of the following to win, now:

Finau 15-1
Schauffele 18-1
Perez 30-1?

FYI, Tiger is 40-1
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.
