2 tee-ball games? Is that code for golf?
We are talking about Fish. He can't afford to play golf right now--he don't have enough shits to give.

Given that the pool we go to is my SIL's house. I might actually tell my wife "hey you guys go to the pool, I'm going to go play golf. I'll come over after the round."

If I spend more than about 2-3 hours around my SIL things can get ugly, I have a very hard time biting my tongue and not telling her how much of a piece of crap she is. So my wife is normally happy to "let" me do something else if we plan to be at her house for a while.

But yeah I don't really have many shits to give, there is just an increasing change I actually play golf this weekend. More to prevent verbal punches being thrown. Who knows maybe I'll do some work around the house that I've been putting off though instead of golf. Both sound equally blah at this point.

US Woman's Open this week. Biggest ever women's prize ever.

Hank Haney stepped in it a bit with some lame comments about predicting a winner ("A Korean") and not knowing anyone's name ("I'll pick 'Lee'). Why can't people in the public eye just think a little before they start talking? There is nothing wrong with saying one doesn't follow the LPGA very closely because none of his clients are members (and after this interview, probably never will be).

Thinking is hard for most people.

At first the comments seemed rude towards Koreans. But on second thought, the American LPGA golfers are the ones who should be first in line. (To kick Haney in the testes obviously.)

But then again, they really do suck nowadays. They have won one tournament so far in 2019. Haney's comments are a reflection of Haney's own stupidity, and unfortunately they also reflect American woman's golf suckage. It is a rather dark time for this contingent. Michelle Wie has done lost her public image. Case in point, she is about to get married (!!!!!) and the media is completely silent on the matter. I cannot even tell you one store where the happy couple is registered. :facepalm If you told me in 2004, that Michelle Wie would marry before the age of 30, but that the world would not have any shits to give, I would've said to you: get the fuck out of here with these outlandish predictions.

I am guessing very, very low ratings for Haney's satellite radio talk show. Probably got lulled into thinking he could speak in an offhand, casual manner.

That's just Haney. He opens his mouth and shit falls out, much like Trump. They both think they know more than anyone and both LOVE to be controversial. I listen to Haney's Sirius Radio show sometimes when it happens to come on after something else I was listening to, and frankly, I usually have to turn it off within a few minutes because he gets on my nerves so much with his pompous attitude. He may be a great teacher for some, but based on what I hear on his radio show and from what I saw when his reality TV show was on the Golf Channel, he thinks he's the god of golf instruction (among other things). My opinion is, he is not. Far from it.

This topic is probably a good opportunity for me to get banned at golfwrx. I just posted there urging someone to be a man and stop complaining about other people complaining. My goal is to get banned simply for being mean.

36-hole leader at the US Woman Open is Mamiko Higa of Japan, who is the wife of a top-ranked sumo wrestler. She must be a physically strong woman.

I am excited for this final round of US Woman's Open. Who knows why. I just am. Conditions are gonna be tough, pressure is sure to factor, and looks like anybody could win.

This week, the greatest show (of women's professional golf) on earth comes to Grand Rapids MICHIGAN. Which is only about two hours away from ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN. :heynow

I looked at the "Solheim Cup" points standings for the US women. What a motley crew (or should I say Motley Crue). Of the top 20 women in the points standings, they have a total of 2 wins in 2019. As a group they have trouble finishing in the top 10. "Woo hoo, I finished tied for 9th!!"

I can understand why the US women get so excited about the Solheim Cup. It is the only time they get to kick butt since Europe typically has an even worse collection of players. The rest of the year they get brutalized by a collection of foreigners.

Yea! Paula Creamer might make the team. I'll watch just to see her smile. :ohyeah

As a Captain's pick last time, she won big in a huge US comeback. I hope she gets the chance to do so again. I miss seeing her out there in the mix all the time.

This whole Solheim Cup situation has the feel of the final days of a going-out-of-business liquidation sale.

Well, the teams are in Scotland. I am underwhelmed by the collective accomplishments of both teams over the past 2 years.

This is an exhibition... of how mediocre at women's golf both these regions have become in the last decade or so. :fu

Would love to see some real data, but it appeared to me that the ladies were much less generous at conceding putts than the men at Ryder Cup, but it also could have been a last day thing.

Turncoat that I am, I was cheering for the Euros to spank the USA. Mission accomplished. All looked to be lost when Europe had to take the last three matches outright in order to win. Nice ending for Europe and Suzann Pettersen.

Ditto! But, I am originally European, so not completely a turncoat, ah! :lolz

Yes, it was nice to see the intensity of the last few holes and the sweet victory for the Euros. Good on Suzann Petersen, she deserves it and what a way to end a career! :claps

Nobody's a turncoat. Golf before country. And I just don't see how a golf fan with any self respect could with a straight face support such a motley crew of losers.
