You know, as out of date as that quote sounds, it is true. I find that when I teach my wife anything about golf it forces me to think through the why and how of the technique, whatever it may be. Consequently, I start doing whatever it is better myself by reacquainting myself with, and becoming more cognizant of the intricacies necessary to do it correctly.
