Things From The Golf Course
Being on a coastal island my new community has lots of wildlife and lots of interesting marsh birds. Of course, it’s these guys who get the most attention;
Saturday I saw this guy flying over me. Pretty cool:
Saw him again on Sunday and something was dangling from his talons as he flew to the tree. I suddenly realized he had a snake. As he landed he lost his grip and the snake fell into the water. I was like, “dang, Mr. Eagle, that’s like reaching the par 5 in 2 and 4 putting-

Nice photos. I occasionally say to the group, “Hey, is that a bald eagle?” and point. When everyone looks I tap in my ball.

At my courses the red tees are the back tees. You shouldn't play the red tees, as this guy pointed out:
If you look closely you can see slump in the middle. I think dinner was just had.-

Yes, definite bulge in the middle. The Mitten has only a midget rattler to worry about. Goose poop is our biggest danger.

When I lined up my putt, he was looking straight at me. Too unnerving - moved my ball six feet left for the first time - then sank the 25 footer.
