Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Rory attempting to hit the TPC Sawgrass island green with every club (minus putter) in the bag.
Build a bridge and get over it.
Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
It made it sound like he made it... not close, but interesting.

I'll give this a try next time I screw around on my simulator, see if I can beat 4.
Keep it short stupid.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
I want to see a El Tigré or Phil do it. Rory is his usual standoffish self here. He is not very game and doesn't really try that hard. Douche.

Build a bridge and get over it.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Paul Casey took down El Tigré last year, now has a very good chance to beat Phil. We are looking at prime Paul Casey. I sort of like the guy, because he is English, and also is into biking. If he wins today he will win a "major" very soon.

Build a bridge and get over it.
Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Someone on this board may have had Casey pre-tourney at 30-1 to win.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Someone else on this board flopped quad 4s and stacked AA last night for 300 bb.
Keep it short stupid.
Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Could you please say that in old-person English so I might understand? Or was it supposed to be in code on purpose?jasonfish11 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 4:56 pmSomeone else on this board flopped quad 4s and stacked AA last night for 300 bb.

Oh, now I get it. Texas Hold'em. I didn't realize we changed the subject from golf.
Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Casey is even through 15, and Phil 6 under through 16, unless something goes nuts tomorrow Phil got another one

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
Great finish for Phil this morning. Congrats to him. Happy for Casey too. He was able to get 2nd alone and won the ProAm portion with his partner. Casey seems like a really good guy. Hard not to like him.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
I think it would be cool to try that. Does anyone know the yardage it was playing? I suspect a few of us could give Rory a run for his money. 3 of 13 is not particularly good, in my ignorant opinion.legitimatebeef wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 12:53 pmRory attempting to hit the TPC Sawgrass island green with every club (minus putter) in the bag.

Let's Play 36
GHIN Handicap: 7.8 … 9.2 … Let’s just say I am around a 14!

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
I grew up with a dog in the house. Yes, got the face lick all the time.
Now I see how dogs are fairly indiscriminate in what or where they lick. Hmmmmm.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
It's special because it's a seeing-eye dog. Working dogs are usually all business. But for El Tigré, he made an exception. He's like, this guy is one of us

The green is 3950 SQ feet, so that means its roughly 70' in diameter. Its slightly kidney shaped and lies at an angle from short left to long right. So basically you have probably from 135 yards short left to 165 yards back right and 140 short right to 160 back left. Assuming the pin was centered at 150 yards.

Re: 2019 PGA Tour thread
It would be fun to see Lee Trevino and Chi Chi give it a try (in their prime).
