2025 - PGA/LIV/DPT/LPGA Tours

Post by bkuehn1952.2 »

I noted CBS has already started advertising The Masters. I don't think I have watched any golf in several months and before that, only a few minutes here and there. Now a new year of TV golf is before me. I may try to watch a bit through the winter and see if it creates any interest in me.

Even if they do eventually reunite the squabbling tours, I think they've done quite a bit of damage in the interim. Doing little but whining and obsessing over money and complaining about work for the past three or four years solid. Look all top sports people are into money, I am not naive. I just think that putting their true colors on full ugly display was bad for the image of pro golf. In any case Tiger was such a massive phenomenon that we were due for a massive letdown around this time anyways. Golf will now to return to its old status, as the boring and snoozeworthy shit on TV that features a bunch of country club fuckfaces wearing annoying outfits.

Well, haven't watched a minute of golf since I posted this in December. Maybe a bit of the Masters?

No Tiger this week, no Mahasturrs hype. But thankfully for fans of degenerates in the field is Angel Cabrera--a bona fide and violent convicted felon. Somehow I doubt that he will be treated to a finger wagging, moralizing pre-tournament lecture by the Augusta chairman like Tiger got in 2010. Not that I care either way. The guy seems repentant, at least. I honestly expected the opposite. Being repentant about it probably killed his chances at a Mar-a-Lago invitation.

Anyways here is that damn video, I wouldn't feel complete without it.

I will watch the dang thing but no longer interested in all the app-based, live-stream-multi-cast stuff. Just let me tune the TV to channel 2 on Sunday afternoon and fall asleep on the couch to Jim Nance.

Tournament is more enjoyable without either old men or amateurs making the cut. The sentimentality around these cases is always so cloying and repetitive.

A very big battle is brewing. We are headed for a Masters Maga/liberal showdown. At the same time, it will be a revenge match from last year's US Open outcome. Again very big battle. Specifically because Bryson is a loud Maga while Rory, as far as I can recall is the only professional golfer to have ever publicly criticized Donald Trump. Bryson I am guessing has those criticisms either printed out on a paper or memorized, very strongly.

Crazy how Rory is in the lead, hitting it pretty unbelievable this week, and probably the best golfer of this generation and yet not a single person expects him to win tomorrow. That's fucked up man. I don't claim to know what he is going to do but I sure hope he wins. Fuck everyone!

I am pulling for Rory. Good vs. Evil.

On a side note, Rory and I have a little bit in common. I once started a round "3, 3, 3" (eagle, birdie, par). Rory copied me and then had to do it a lot better. I am okay with that. ;)
