That's a nice bag.

I bought a Project X HAZRDUS Smoke Green (Hulk) driver shaft a couple of weeks ago as an experiment. I hit it well but I prefer the feel of the UST Lin-Q Blue more.

I've been hitting the heck out of my 3W lately, which is an old Cobra model, and my 5W, which is a Titleist TSR3. The Titleist matches my driver and hybrids, but I didn't feel the need to buy a 3W at the time. As our courses require more FW's off the tee, I decided last week to see if I could find a bargain 3W on the used market to match my set, thinking that the Titleist 3W would get another 5-10 yards off the tee as my Titleist 5W is definitely +5-10 yards from my old Cobra 5W. Couldn't believe how luck I got but found a used for $200 with a perfect matching shaft - looks better than my 5W.

Results definitely mixed so far. About half the tee shots with it are great. The other half are not straight at all, but they are still going long, meaning that it ends up in a bad place. Going to keep working on it - took a while to adjust to the 5W.

I went for a driver fitting on Friday and walked out with a new Cobra Darkspeed Adapt Max-K 10.5° with a Denali Black 6.0 shaft. I like it a lot and the new Cobra Adapter is an innovation.
I also had a custom fairway wood cover made out of my football team from back homes jersey. The guy did awesome work.

Not a purchase, but I did just now buy into some bullshit I saw on the television. I am a sucker for the rock band the Who and their big rock radio hits. So this one hit pretty good unfortunately.

Once again not a purchase, this time the opposite of a purchase. Listing my Garmin launch monitor on eBay. I used it a couple times but it just never took. It was a birthday gift from Mrs Beef so I hate to sell it but it has been sitting unused for almost two years. Better that I buy something I really like, and that the Garmin goes to someone who will use it. I'll apply the proceeds towards a new set of "woods" for my bag.

I believe a time will come when I want a launch monitor. But I need an indoor space first. And a big screen probably. If it is not an immersive experience, I don't think I want it. I am in California after all. There are not many days in the year when you cannot go outside and whack it. So the indoor alternative has to be pretty dang appealing.

I managed to liquidate the Garmin. Nicely surprised by the resale value. This is not the end of my launch monitor journey. It's just not the time right now. I need an indoor space before I can get really interested.

For a birthday Mrs Beef got me Therabody "Jetboots" from the makers of Theragun. They are basically a pair of like, pneumatic massage pants. Put em on and give your legs a nice big squeeze. Feels a lot like a blood pressure device only a lot bigger. After a couple days use I can attest that they feel nice n therapeutic. Hoping to see some actual benefits out in the field.
