I skanked a few off the toe and then put it back. It felt about the same as the old shit. Maybe I need to get on a course first. Something about hitting driver at the range... not sure what, but I truly hate it. Maybe it is that rubber tee. That seems like a very tiny thing, but somehow it fills me with dread. Every other club, I enjoy whacking at the range.

I hear you. I prefer a range where one can use a tee and have the ball teed the way one likes it. Using "standard" built in rubber tees sucks. I am not good enough to adjust my swing because the rubber tee is too high or too low.

@legitimatebeef have a look at Birtees on the jungle. You can take them to the range and use them instead of the rubber ones. I use them on my sim in the garage.

I always struggled with driver at ranges whenever there was a barrier between stalls. Felt claustrophobic and was afraid I would hit something. This would cause me to bring the club inside and hit a bad shot, especially since bringing the club inside the line is my #1 swing flaw. Today, even when my club is on mats, I tee up on the grass for driver.
