Gonna have to go ahead and agree with the fish. If 200 was the goal, then 199 is a heck of a lot better than 196. Unless the specific goal was to achieve a number with two zeroes. Come on now.
Build a bridge and get over it.

Today was my Last round at Jonathan’s Landing for the foreseeable future. Was a decent adventure. Joined Mulligans Pointe couple weeks ago. Totally different track. Heavily wooded and lots of water. Let the fun begin.

No particular goals set this year other than try to get as far into the season as possible pain free. Did not accomplish that. Hammering the ball thru mid July. However, late July my left knee started to act up and affected my swing and how I walked for several months. Played some ragged golf. Cortisone shot and new knee brace has me somewhat back in the game.

Finished 2019 with 4 eagles, 217 birdies in 172 rounds. Not bad.
Tee it up!

I didn't really fail. 196 was more than I expected when the season began. It just would have been even better if I had reach that magical 200.
