John Ram
Breaking a long period of neutrality, this website hereby officially endorses PGA Tour golfer Jon Rahm for 2021 US Open Champion. I just read his press conference and boy, there is a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. I was always impressed with the thoughtful words that come out of Jon Rahm, and his latest remarks about his recent unfortunate COVID incident were quite heartening. A top pro golfer gets disqualified from a tournament while sitting on six shots lead while being asymptomatic, I would expect the complete opposite reaction as Jon's. He was even vaccinated at the time of the DQ, but he was within the two-week waiting period. In spite of everything, he is completely understanding of the PGA Tour's policies and even blamed himself for not getting vaccinated sooner. No tears, no blubbering, no finger pointing. This is what I call 'taking it like a man', an ethos which I feel is dying or almost dead in 2021.

Re: John Ram
I don't think you appreciate what an explosive situation this would have been had it happened to another, more typical, less mature golfer. Could easily imagine this blowing up into a Supreme Court level issue, if the golfer had cried about forced vaccinations, loss of income, medical experimentation, Constitutional rights, my body my choice, all that retarded crap.

I'm hoping Rahm does well. Been following this story closely and I, too, was quite impressed with his great attitude about the whole situation.

Another Rahm supporter now. Thanks for the back story.

Somebody has to say it sooner or later. Mrs. Rahm has got some prodigious rack.
Kind of reminds me of that lady who used to run onto the field during MLB games to kiss the ballplayers back in the 80s.
