So anxious right now. Tensions running high in the Beef household. Even the dog feels it.

Halfway into first beer already. Placed a third in refrigerator in case of emergency.

Re: The Tiger Thread

Still a great week. No pain as far as we can tell. Now, on to Bay Hill.

Re: The Tiger Thread
He looked really good this weekend. I actually saw some golf since the weather was so shitty in Atlanta the whole weekend. His gallery on the other hand, needs to stfu...seriously. Holy shit they're obnoxious. At this point, outside of majors, golf on TV may better be enjoyed on mute.

Re: The Tiger Thread
Talk about having a flashback. #17, Tiger needs to can the downhill 40-footer to even have a chance. The ball starts rolling, and rolling ... no way ... no way ... it doesn't have enough speed... holy crap it went in!! A decade and more ago we all expected him to get the job done and more often than not, he did. Yesterday he came up short by a stroke but he certainly made the last hole interesting.

Let's Play 36
GHIN Handicap: 7.8 … 9.2 … Let’s just say I am around a 14!

Re: The Tiger Thread
Sorry if this comes across as flippant and insulting but Tiger is Making the PGA Tour Great Again.
I'm sorry but PGA Tour without Tiger is not great. It's not horrible but it's nothing special either. Sorry. Justin Thomas and Chesson and Co might tickle your fancy in this moment, but from a historical perspective they are merely the Hal Suttons and Lanny Wadkins of their day. You cannot seriously expect me to go gay for the likes of Sutton and Wadkins. GTFO. I'm sorry but Jordan is essentially the Hale Irwin of the Aught-teens. If he's lucky he'll become the Ray Floyd of his time--IF. Rickie Fowler has a long way to go before I'd even consider him as the Millennial Jeff Sluman. Don't give me that look, Jeff Sluman is a major fuckin champion.

I was rooting for Reed to tie Casey, that ponce. How could I not like Reed, he is the biggest Tiger Tard on tour.

Re: The Tiger Thread
Tiger T2 after a 68 today. More important than the score, he seemed to be having fun out there. That is what is most important. In life.
In other news, Vegas oddsmakers have placed Woods as the favorite for the 2018 Masters. Spare me your mansplaining about how the odds reflect how people are betting and nothing more. I know that Jack. What's interesting is the field. Nobody is standing out these days. D. Johnson is the undisputed #1 player. But nobody expects all that much from him, or even thinks twice when he has a pisspoor showing. Like losing straight-up to Ted Potter, Jr.
At this stage in pro golf, Phil Mickelson at almost 48 years old, is as big a name as anyone. And for good reason! Chesson Hadley is playing like total shit lately, to name just one.

Chez is currently at 47 in OWGR, hopefully makes some noise at the match play and the Shell.

Re: The Tiger Thread
I stuck my neck out for Chez and now I am looking pretty stupid. Perfect example of why golf media doesn't "do the right thing" and throw all its weight behind whatever tight young hottie might be playing well that week. Of why they keep going back to the Tiger well. Tiger may not win all the time, or ever again, but viewers know they can count on him to give 100% and not dog it. Ever. The same cannot be said about any other player in the field.

Re: The Tiger Thread
T-4 after the first round. This guy is amazing. Written off by the world and now favored to win this week and in or at the top in the Masters.
Is this really happening? Pinch me.

Re: The Tiger Thread
Not a great day for the man, but certainly not bad. He played fairly well. Putts didn't drop. Didn't lose any strokes, but lost a few positions on the leader board. Still in it though.
Re: The Tiger Thread
I was on the golf course for most of the round, but that up and down from the buried under the bunker lip lie on 15 was amazing.
I will stand in the fairway, I want to be out of your range.

Actually it will be 14 majors. Tiger started using this putter on May 4th, 1999--two years after winning the Masters for the first time.
