I can relate to your situation a bit. I had to put my feline friend, Buddy, down last year at about this time. I didn't have any warning, either. He started displaying symptoms of congenital heart failure on Saturday afternoon. I had him at the emergency vet shelter by about 8:00 on Saturday night. The vet said he wouldn't make it until Monday unless we kept him on a respirator.

I wish I had had the time to let him have a nice rib-eye, though he would probably have preferred a can of tuna.

I couldn't agree with this more, and it's great to hear so far it sounds like just a minor twist or something. I'm a huge sap for dogs too; can't help it.

Good luck with the pup. Glad the leg seems to be doing better. :thumbs

Crotch licking is one of my least favorite doggy habits. It's not the concept of it that bothers me, hell we'd all do it too if we could. I just hate how noisy it is. Jesus Christ, you sound like a starved person slurping up a big bowl of soup, how is that even possible?! Wake up the whole house with that shit. :facepalm

Dogs are many things to us humans but let's not forget they are also roommates and as such can be really annoying sometimes.

Totally man. I am a former classical studies scholar and always liked the Roman way of reclinin' n' dinin'. I do it on the couch sometimes.

If you own a dog, why not be a bro and buy a $40 dehydrator so you can make sweet potato treats for it. You will be providing an exceptionally wholesome and natural snack, one that also cleans teeth, and doing so at a cost of literal pennies. Oh, wait. I forgot you don't have time as you are too busy saving lives/solving society's biggest problems/keeping your respective employers in the red and all the other oh-so-important work you do.

If this pic does not brighten your day, then it is time to call it a life.

I see it just fine. I saw this on my news feed the other day: such a cool picture! Agreed with Beef about brightening one's day. It really looks like the black lab in front took the "selfie", doesn't it? :thumbs
