It has been seasonably cold lately. Last round had been 3/15 and I was in danger of going golfless for a week!!!
By 2pm today is was 36 degrees but sunny and a breeze less than 10mph. I decided to give our city executive course (5,000 yards and par 67) a go. With my new season pass, it cost -0-. I played fairly well. Skipped 4 holes to avoid the Huron HS JV golf team.
Sigh. Management had indicated a couple weeks ago that they might open Leslie Park on March 25. Our unseasonably warm dry weather has resulted in 85% of the local courses opening in March.
We got 3 inches of snow Friday. This is the course as of this afternoon.

The bare areas face south and the sun helped melt the snow despite the temps in the 30's.
