The thread needs to be changed to "Club of the Month" and nominate PW. :)

Last Sunday I was having a very so so round. +7 after 14, 7 bogeys, most were unforced or a bad short iron. On the 15th hole par 5 the wind was behind me so I decided to be aggressive. Hit two pretty good shots, but mysteriously was still 70 yards from a back pin. Again decided to be aggressive and hit what seemed like a nice wedge in close but then the ball disappeared and I thought I had hit it past the hole and off the green. But one of my partners shouted out," that went in!!" Career eagle #15. Suddenly managed pars on the last three holes for a pretty good round.

November, 20, 2025 - I hit a poor tee shot on #17 at Hudson Mills. Well right of the fairway and on hard pan/very thin grass. Picked the ball perfectly with my 4 iron. It flew high (for a 4 iron hit by me) and straight at the flag. Left me a 10 footer uphill, which I missed, sigh. Still, it was a very good ball strike.

Love the feeling of a flushed 4 iron.
