Re: Masters
Man I wish I could join you all in golf fandom exile. I still like watching them whack it. The more I improve at it the more I appreciate seeing it done really well. But then again I enjoy watching all the shots in between, good, mediocre and bad. I find now that I can tell a lot more about a shot ...

Re: Masters
I watched but didn't particularly enjoy it. You could say that nobody really stepped up to Rory, who only managed even par for the whole weekend.
Something I realized about this tournament. The pomp and circumstance are off the charts level. So, anyone who would dare to win this shit, must be ready ...

Re: Masters
Shit, I watched like five hours of this fuckin shit yesterday and now the bottom has dropped out of my interest level. Rory who I thought had leveled up after winning last year, now looks like the same old anxious dweeb as ever. He is one of the great ballstrikers--of ALL TIME! But as a competitor ...

Re: What did you buy today?
Not a buy but today I found at the range one of those rubber mat tees that can hold a regular wooden tee at your preferred height. Extremely useful item that I would have bought. But surely I will misplace it very soon, it will find a new owner and the cycle will go on.

Re: the Tiger thread
Back when I was young and stupid, and Tiger Woods was winning championships and hearts, I thought the guy could end up as President of the United States someday. And then the world got all messy and complicated, and I thought of myself as really stupid for ever entertaining such thoughts. But now ...

Re: 2025-2026 Winter Support Group
Our perfect weather was followed by the coldest spell we ever felt in California. Lows in the 30s! Frosted ground in the morning. It has also been a wet winter. The range is still waterlogged; I haven't whacked balls all week. Already, golf feels like something I used to do.

Excited for @MattF. eCarts are taking over from what I can tell. It looks like fun and I used to think about getting one someday--until I realized that I am a degenerate that prefers to ride.

Re: 2025 - PGA/LIV/DPT/LPGA Tours
The defections of Bruce Koepka and Patrick Reed from LIV have everyone all excited. Predictions are flying around of the demise of LIV Golf. The Saudi's have a boat load of money so I don't see this happening. Of course, my prediction skills are negligible.
Which makes that recent Anthony Kim ...
